Ursula from The Little Mermaid
King Triton banished Ursula from his palace, and the sea witch wanted revenge. She gets her chance when the king's daughter, Ariel, falls in love with a human. Ursula turns Ariel into a human--but only on the condition that Ariel agrees to become Ursula's property if she fails to make the prince fall in love with her in three days.
Ursula knows that King Triton loves his daughter so much that he would willingly sacrifice himself for her... and give up his trident, a magical artifact that controls the seas.
Four Words that Describe Ursula

- Theatrical. Just watch the way she dances and plays up the drama when she tries to convince Ariel to accept her deal. The woman is a ham.
- Scary. Powerful spells, long creepy tentacles, an ominous smile, a maniacal gleam in her eye... Ursula's not the kind of woman most people would want to mess with.
- Fat. I wouldn't be stupid enough to say it to her face, but she is. However, her girth makes her more imposing.
- Manipulative. Ursula doesn't play fair: She cheats and does whatever she can to make sure Ariel doesn't win the bargain.

Ursula's in a good mood... watch out!

Ursula at a Glance
Ursula is an animated villainess who first appears in the 1989 Disney animated feature film, The Little Mermaid. She is voiced by Pat Carroll in the film, the spin-off television series and the Kingdom Hearts video games.

In the original story the sea witch is a neutral enabler, but for Disney's animated adaptation, the character was modified into a full-fledged antagonist and plays a larger role in the overall story. Ursula is a cecaelia sea witch who "helps" unfortunate merfolk to...

- Sorry, I'm pretty sure Ursula died... though she may have gotten better and just didn't get around to teling us. Also, getting help from Ursula carries the risk of being turned into a scraggily plant creature.
