The Superheroes of the US Military
They are the men and women who fight so that I can enjoy the freedoms I often take for granted. They defend my nation, my home, from those who want to take it away from me. They even pay the ultimate price so that I can sleep soundly at night. They are the men and women of the United States Military, and they are superheroes to me.

Quite often I take the freedoms I have for granted. I don't think about the people who fight daily to ensure that I can live safely and do the things I do each day--like write about the things I want, speak freely, and live the way I want to--things that people in other parts of the world don't have the ability or freedom to do.These freedoms are ensured by the men and women who have become injured and even given their lives to ensure that we have a safe home, a home where we can live free to express ourselves, to pursue our own desires and dreams.
Have you told a veteran or active soldier of the Military how grateful you are for what they do for you lately? Why not take a moment once in a while and tell a soldier how thankful you are for what they've done, and continue to do, so that you can be free?
