The Evolution of Data Storage
Okay, so maybe it didn't exactly go like that but that's how it seem to me over the last 20 years of my own computer use. Suffice to say, I love flash/thumb/jump/splash drives. I just wish everyone would agree on what they're called!
Finally I have an easy way to not only backup important data on my computer, but it also travels with me very easily. And instead of a bunch of anonymous and identical disks, I can have fun and funky USB drives! Being a Mac user, I'm used to being able to customize just about every facet of my computer experience. Now if I can just make up my mind, I'm going to mod my own flash drive.

DIY Mods for Flash Drives

- In this particular mod the idea is to use PEZ candy dispensers as a case for flash memory devices.
