Forks!!!! Manitou Mars CL (VERY high end), Manitou Axel
Manitou Mars CL fork (Disc or V brake)- This a very high end fork, and is usually spec'd on $2500 hardtails like Specialized Sworks or Gary Fisher Super Caliber. Weighs in at 2.76 pounds. Carbon arch, air shock. It has a lockout and "anti bob" lever/feature (which is similar to specialized's Future Shock). It is in good condition with only a few minor scratches. The decal on the arch is peeling off a bit. 80mm travel. 1 1/8 steer tube, 8.5in/215mm long. These forks retailed for $699. I'll sell it for $120
Giant XTC-NRS full suspension mountain bike
Shimano XT, BB7 disc brakes, SID, carbon bars $700
The bike you are looking at is a 2002 Giant XTC- NRS full suspension mountain bike. The frame is a NRS-3, although it is so heavily upgraded it is more of a NSR-1 or 2 (with even better derailleurs). This is a very smooth riding bike. Shifting is fantastic, and braking is more powerful than you could need. 27 speed, rapid fire shifters, disc brakes, mostly Shimano XT. Aluminum frame, carbon handlebars. To get a similarly equipped bike new, you would have to spend $1500-$2000.
The 20.5 inch/Large frame will fit someone roughly 5 foot 10 to 6 foot 3.
The bike is in excellent mechanical condition. It has been given a complete tuneup and cleaning. All components are in great shape with little wear.
The bike is in very good cosmetic condition. It does have a few minor scratches and dings, but it looks great. Absolutely NO dents, cracks, or bends.

Custom high end commuter/ touring bike/ hybrid- high end Schwinn frame
Shimano XT/Ultegra, fenders, rack $475!!!
Cool custom Schwinn commuter. The frame is a 1999 Schwinn Moab 1 (bike retailed for $950). It was built up with only top quality parts. The bike was built up about 3 years ago, when a new custom paint job and decal set was applied. All parts were new at that point except the wheels, which are a couple years older. The brake levers and shifters are only 2 years old. Essentially the model year for this bike is 2006 or 2007. 18 speed drivetrain (9x2), aluminum frame/steel fork, rapid fire shifters.
The 19 inch frame (c-t) will fit someone roughly 5 foot 9 to 6 foot 2.
This Schwinn has road bike gearing, full fenders, a rear rack, and skinny tires. It would make an excellent commuter, hybrid, or even a touring bike. The ride is very comfortable and quick. The Serfas Drifter tires are amazingly smooth, and nearly puncture proof! The crank is a double, making for excellent front shifting and low maintenance. The rear rack has a spot to clip on a rear light. The Rolf Uracco wheels are very light and stiff, as well as nearly bombproof! The Surly steel fork smooths out the ride by soaking up vibrations.
With these tires, there is a good 1.5 to 2 inches of room between the tires and fenders. The bike originally had 26x2.0 tires on them and there was still plenty of room. The rear is drilled for disc brakes, although the front isnt. With the addition of some large tires (the fork will accommodate up to 26x2.7), this would make a killer snow bike!
The bike is in excellent mechanical condition. It has been given a complete tuneup and cleaning. I just installed brand new tires. Cables, chain, pads, and gears are in great shape. Needs nothing, ready to ride.
With the exception of a few very small paint chips, this bike looks nearly brand new! The paint job looks very high quality.
Componentry includes:
1999 Schwinn Moab 1 frame
Surly 1x1 steel fork
Rolf Urracos wheels ($500 wheelset)
Shimano XT 9 speed rear derailleur
Shimano Ultegra front derailleur and cassette (12-25)
Shimano Deore rapid fire shifters
FSA Gossamer double crank (48/39)
Bontrager Crowbar handlebars
Ritchey Pro stem
Velo seat
Serfas Drifter 26x1.5 tires with flat protection BRAND NEW
Serfas lock on grips
Trek Interchange rear rack
Pedals: your choice of spd, plastic platform or spikey BMX/mtn platform pedals

Raleigh Technium Single Speed Road Bike- 57cm
$195
** This bike is normally priced at $235. From now until January 5th I will sell it for $195
The bike you are looking at is a Raleigh Technium 460 single speed road bike. I received this as a close to a bare frame, and recently built it up. Cables, housing, tires, bar tape, chain, and freewheel are BRAND NEW. The chain and freewheel are 1/8th inch. 17T freewheel, 40t chainring. Aluminum main triangle, steel fork and stays, and is pretty light! This is a very smooth riding, quick, and cool singlespeed. Bar tape is real suede leather!! The brake levers are actually Campagnolo Ergo (sti) shifters with the shift levers removed, and are extremely comfortable! Campy clone quill pedals
The 57cm (c-c) frame will fit someone roughly 5ft 11 to 6 foot 3.
The bike is in excellent mechanical condition, and good cosmetic condition. A few light scratches here and there, but it looks great! The brake lever hoods have a couple cuts, but nothing too bad. Needs nothing, ready to ride!
Componentry includes:
Sakae SA crank, 40t chainring
Sakae bars
Raleigh seat
Campagnolo brake levers
Coda (cannondale) front brake, Weinmann rear brake
retro Campy clone quill pedals
Kenda 27x 1 ¼ tires
$195 CASH ONLY.
Trek 2300 road bike, 54cm
FULL Shimano Ultegra 9 speed
The bike you are looking at is a 2002 Trek 2300 road bike, in USPS team colors. This bike retailed at 1999.99 when new, and is a high performance bike. Only weighs 18.75 pounds! All components are Shimano Ultegra, which is second only to Dura Ace. Aluminum frame, carbon fork. Standard double, 12-25 cassette. It would make an awesome first road bike, or a high performance beater bike! For this price, you couldn't even buy a new road bike!
The 54cm frame will fit someone roughly 5 foot 6 to 5 foot 11.
Cosmetically the bike is a tad rough. It has a small dime sized dent on the top tube (does NOT affect structure or performance, only cosmetics), and a number of nicks. From a few feet away it looks quite nice though. The components are a bit scratched up too. The top caps on the shifters say 105, but they are actually Ultegra shifters (as printed on the levers). Absolutely NO cracks. These are the reasons the price is so low. In good cosmetic condition this bike would be selling for $1000.
It is in good mechanical condition. It has been given a full tuneup and cleaning. Brand new rear brake pads and rear shift cable. The wheels are perfectly true, and in pretty good shape. Tires, chain, cassette, brake pads, and cables are in good shape. Needs nothing, ready to ride.
Componentry includes:
Bontrager Race Lite wheels
Shimano Ultegra STI shifters, derailleurs, crank, cassette, and brakes
Bontrager Race seat post and handlebar
New resin pedals (I have several platform and clipless pedals for a bit extra money)
San Marco Apside, USPS Team edition
$500 CASH ONLY. This is the Christmas special price, and come January the price will go up to $550.
Cannondale Killer V700 mountain bike/hybrid- $300
Medium frame, LX components, Headshok with lockout
**This bike was originally listed at $300, but now until jan 5th I will sell for $300.
The bike you are looking at is a 1998 Cannondale Killer V700 mountain bike/hybrid, which retailed for $1000. It may be older, but it looks to have been ridden extremely little. Probably no more than 50 miles on the bike! I even have the original manual and receipt. It is equipped with Shimano Deore LX and high end Coda components. It has a headshok with lockout. (Cannondale's shock design where the shock is built into the center instead of the arms of the fork). The ride quality is excellent, and comparable to modern bikes. Shifting is smooth and precise. Extremely powerful and compliant V brakes. Aluminum frame, 24 speed drivetrain. Handmade in the USA!!! Own a piece of vintage cycling history!
The medium (17in) frame will fit someone roughly 5 foot 4 to 5 foot 10.
It currently has the original semislick Continental 26 x 1.6 tires on it which even still have the nipples on the center tread! These tires would be perfect for streets, gravel trails like the Katy Trail, or light mountain biking on smooth hardpack. For hardcore mountain biking, I will swap in some nice mountain bike tires (Specialized, Fire XC Pro, etc). For an extra $20 you can have both sets of tires!
It is in near perfect cosmetic condition. The only scratches on the frame are on the inside of the seat stay, near the dropout (from the chain getting caught). Components are nearly perfect as well.
It is in excellent mechanical condition. It was given a fresh tuneup. It has brand new brake pads and cables. Seat is brand new, off a 2009 Specialized Rockhopper. Needs nothing, ready to ride.
Components include:
CAAD 2 aluminum frame
P-Bone D Headshok, 60mm travel with lockout
Mavic 221 rims on Shimano STX-RC hubs
Shimano Deore LX rear derailleur
Shimano STX-RC (between deore and LX) front derailleur
Coda CF1 crank
Shimano V brakes
DiaCompe brake levers
Shimano Grip shifts (some of the most precise grip shifts I have ever seen, shifts as good as rapid fires)
Coda Expert bars/stem
Specialized Indie seat, brand new (AWESOME seat)
Continental Goliath 26x1.6 tires, nearly new
$300 CASH ONLY.
Clipless pedals, track pedals
Speedplay Frogs, stainless steel spindle- Very good condition, only some minor scratches in the plastic. Bearings are very smooth with only the slightest amount of play. These retail for $135. Sell $60 Look pedals, black. Not sure of the model but they look fairly new. Very good condition, bearings are very smooth. $35 I have cleats for an extra $10 Shimano Dura Ace 7401 pedals. These were designed by Look, and use modern Look cleats. Rough cosmetic condition, but great mechanical condition. Very smooth bearings. These are rare and sought after! I just sold a nicer pair for $115 on ebay. I'll let these go for $20 Welgo WAM-M919 spd pedals. These use standard Shimano spd cleats. Good condition, bearings are smooth but have a bit of drag (could be fixed by adding grease). $25
Track style platform pedals. These are like new. Great for your singlespeed or track bike. Even cool for road bikes! The low profile increases turning radius so you don't drag your pedals when you turn. $25
Shimano SPD-R copies. The only label I see says R4. Uses standard SPD-R cleats. This style of pedal is highly sought after by track racers. Good condition. $5
Shimano 3 bolt pedal copies. These have a raised rear cage plate, which is designed to catch on special cleats. Even without cleats, they are easy to use, and give you a lever to pull up with on the back stroke. Like new pedals. $15
Schwinn Fastback Limited Carbon race/road bike- 56cm
Shimano 105/600, VERY quick handling
The bike you are looking at is a 2006 Schwinn Fastback Limited road/racing bike. This was a friends bike, and she built it up from a frame/fork. This is schwinn's top of the line road bike, from the Schwinn Select series. It has carbon top tube, down tube, seat/chain stays, and fork. N'lightened Platinum label Aluminum head tube and seat tube. 9 speed. It is a very light and stiff frame. This frame was originally sold with a full Dura Ace group, but this one is mix of Shimano 600 (older ultegra), Ultegra, and 105. I cannot find the MSRP for this bike, but the 2001 Schwinn Fastback Limited sold for $3,699.99 (bikepedia). I am not saying either way whether this bike sold for that much, but this is a high end frame. The link below is some of the only info I can find on this bike. Scroll down to the Schwinn section.
http://www.cyclingnews.com/tech/2005/shows/interbike05/?id=results/interbike059
The little tab under the top tube is designed to attach race numbers to the frame.
Frame is a 56 CM. The top tube measures 56cm c-c, the seat tube measures 54cm. I usually ride a 56 at 6 feet tall, and this bike fits me nicely. It should fit someone around 5ft 9 to 6ft 1.
The ride is superb, and extremely fast. The carbon smooths out the bumps and vibrations wonderfully, while making it super stiff and responsive. The brakes are very powerful, and shifting is precise. The handling is very quick and agile, without being twitchy. The handling is fairly similar to a Specialized Tarmac. Shifting is so smooth you can hardly feel the shifts.
The bike is in excellent mechanical condition. I gave it a full tuneup and cleaning. It has a new front tire and nearly new rear tire. Chain and cassette are less than a year old. Brake pads and cables are in good shape. Wheels are true. The rims do have a slight amount of brake wear, but not bad at all. Plenty of life left in them. All components are in great shape. Needs nothing, ready to ride.
It is in great cosmetic shape. Just a few very minor scratches/dings in the aluminum. Carbon is nearly perfect.
Componentry includes:
Ritchey Pro carbon fork
Shimano 105 STI shifters, new when the bike was built up 2 years ago.
Shimano 600/Ultegra front and rear derailleur, brakes, double crank
Mavic Open Pro rims on Ultegra hubs, older but in good shape
FSA Carbon headset
Dura Ace 11-21 cassette
3t Forma SL handlebars
Selle Italia XO saddle
Specialized Tri Sport 700x23 front tire, BRAND NEW
Continental Grand Prix 1000 folding tire, rear. nearly new
I am setting the price low due to the older components. But you're still getting a high end carbon frame for a great price.
