Macromedia(Adobe) Dreamweaver

Macromedia Dreamweaver is a very powerful, user-friendly tool that is used to create professional, well-developed websites. This program has many features such as CSS style sheets, importing word documents, and the use of layers. You can do anything from creating a simple e-commerce site to the creation of a complex Flash website.

Creation of websites can be easy, depending on your desired content. Macromedia Dreamweaver even contains starter pages to determine how you want your pages to look like. Dreamweaver also contains a built-in HTML editor that allows you to add scripts or any HTML content.

There are so many different things that this program can be used for. You can create templates, websites, CSS style sheets, Flash Websites, and even more. This product is commonly sold in the Macromedia(Adobe) Studio package. This includes programs such as Macromedia Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver. These three products are used together in many different ways. Suppose you wanted to revise an image for your site. Open it up in Fireworks and get the job done fast and easy. Suppose you want to add a little action to your site. Create a unique, stylistic animation in Flash for your page. Those three products all fit together to create a very sleek, high quality design.

You can learn all of the fundamentals of Dreamweaver by getting a book from Amazon as seen below. That is how I learned, and I have very good template-making skills in this program.

As you can see, Dreamweaver has made a huge impact on web design today. It has many different functions and uses in the IT world and it is also a very understandable, powerful software package. If you choose any software package for designing web pages, it should definately be Dreamweaver.
