That was my key. Only moving up when I had enough to play 10 SNGs at that level. I couldn't play $3 SNGs because they didn't have any. So I had to move up to the $5 SNGs. When I had $50 I played in the $5 SNGs.
I won a few of these and slowly grinded my way up to $100. At this point, I played in some token SNGs, where you buyin for $6 or $8 and win a $26 token to play in some of the bigger multi table tournaments. I won 2 tokens and played in a pot limit holdem MTT. And I took 2nd place. I got some key hands to get me there and I had my fair share of luck too. So I ended up winning over $800 in that one tournament.
So now I have a bankroll to play with and it all started with the $14 that I had to transfer over from Doyle's Room.
This just goes to show you that even with only $20 or $50 you can turn it into a decent chunk of change.
