I had a good experience with U.S. Truck. I went through school in Detroit and my brother actually went to school in Clinton Township. I had 4 pre-hires before I even started training. Archie in job placement did a great job and was very helpful. I got along with the instructors and felt like I had the one on one time that I needed. I am now working for Werner and am making 37cents a mile. I am very happy with my job, I've always like driving and I enjoy seeing parts of the country that I wouldn't have been able to see if it weren't for this job. Overall I would give U.S. truck 5 stars, they helped me get my life on track with a great career. I plan to get involved in owner operator programs soon!!!

It was the worst experience of my life! When you think you're passing (if you haven't paid them - guaranteed - YOU WON'T PASS). They "say" it's Company Sponsored "WRONG" (what they means is, "once you pay them their money, then you're company sponsored or else - they'll come after you for the omoney." Also, when you're training, you'll see those who will get a certificate of completion will be those who will get a hairline shy of hitting cars (yes, those are the truck drivers we need in Michigan). Go with Nu-Way - much much cheaper and a lot better! They will also pay for your testing fee of $100 through the State of Michigan, whereas US Truck Driving - no, you'll fail almost everytime and YOU will have to pay $100 each time.
