Start Collecting Rain Water! Water Has Become a Commodity. It's All About Being Free From Price Speculators!

Consider Water is now a Commodity.

What are we going to do now that is has happened?

I can hear people now, "That will Never, Never, Ever Happen!

......hmmm, that is what they said about $3.00 a gallon gas about four years ago. And now 87 octane gas is now $3.88 a gallon where I live. $4.00 a gallon gas will most likely be here in June and the heavily traveled July the 4th weekend, if it's not already where you live.

Note: Update, utility companies are starting to raise rates for heavy water usage! Do you see the impact this is having and will have in the future?

You can cut back on "Oil - Gas usage, but not water. It IS the source of Life.

Now, why is this price per barrel of oil gone so crazy?

No matter what you think or heard, just "Google" this phrase: oil speculators.

What an eye opener!

OIL, A Non-renewable Resource Being Exploited by Speculators

There is more and more talk about Peak Oil.
As consumers, we in the US are using more oil than anyone.
Now is the time for a New Mindset!

If we all use less; less trips to the grocery store in a week, less trips that maybe combined with another trip out, or institute the 4-day work week where employed.

Anyway we can all individually conserve fuel will make an impact. Why not start today with a family discussion on how it may be implemented.

The results will immediately show up in the bottom line of the family budget.

Start Using a Calculator! Just Flushing Your Toilet Could Bankrupt You!

What would be the cost for an average family of four (4)? Yikes!

Before the 1950s, toilets typically used 7 gallons or more for each flush.

By the end of the 1960s, toilets were designed to flush with only 5.5 gallons,

and in the 1980s the new toilets being installed were using only 3.5 gallons.

Today, a new toilet uses no more than 1.6 gallons of water in the U.S.

Quick Calculation: Guessing 3 flushes a day per person, with 4 family members would cost you 3 X 4 = 12 X 1.6 gallons = 19.2 gallons X $1.00 would be $19.20 with the new toilets. For a month averaging 30 days $19.20 X 30 = $576.00 a month! There goes the BMW.

Just for flushing the toilet!

What about washing your hands, brushing your teeth? Showering? Etc., Etc., Etc.
Life style changes, but isn't this what is happening with the price per gallon of fuel that affects EVERYTHING in our lives right now!

WATER, Not Always in Abundant Supply, Drought of 2007

First time ever that the State of Georgia is now trying to take land from the State of Tennessee to obtain water out of the Tennessee River to supply their growing demands.

Quote USAToday: Water Wars

"Tennessee River. Georgia recently launched a bid for water from the Tennessee River. Last month, the Legislature overwhelmingly approved resolutions authorizing creation of a commission that would seek to move Georgia's border with Tennessee 1.1 miles north, correcting what the state says was a surveyor's mistake in 1818. That would give Georgia part of the Tennessee River.

Dana Coleman, a spokesman for Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen, says, "Tennessee, like Georgia, is dealing with its own drought and water issues. Moving state borders to share water is not a realistic part of any long-term solution."

What Next? Water Brokers - Speculators, Will Water Become a Commodity?

Imagine this, It is a known fact there is great concern about fresh clean water in the US as well as worldwide.

Here is the scenario:

What if we had "Water Brokers - Speculators" who contacted every Local Utility company and started taken options on the water the utility produced in their district per month based on demand.

If that were the case we could easily be paying a dollar a gallon of water we use for drinking, cooking, washing our clothes, showering, brushing our teeth, washing our dishes, flushing toilets, watering our lawns and washing our cars.

......But isn't this what the present Oil Brokers and Speculators are doing?

They are driving up the cost of the Barrel of Oil in just the same way!
