The Doctor
This lens is about a living mith...
It's written by me a fan of the motorcycles, and time after time, I will update it, add new facts, maybe some rumors, or I will just look for the goodies I have about him and post them here! Just keep coming.
Valentino Rossi is awesome as a pilot and as a person!
When he started with the 125 cc. back in 1996 he collected more crashes than anybody else. For five times he did not finished his race, but in august of the same year he won his first World Championship Grand Prix at Brno in Czech Republic.
I still remember when I saw him for the first time that same year at the Mugello, he was the only one still awake around 11:00 pm.
How I know he was awake? Easy, I was tring to climb the fence to enter the paddock and I saw him [ don't judge me, I was just a young boy that loved motorcycle more than anything else].
This Sticker Is His Dog Guido:

He shocked all the world when from a winning situation he was living with his Honda Repsol, choose to switch to a new adventure with a motorcycle that at the moment was a losing bike. And amazed the world with his victories with that bike a Yamaha.
What did he showed to everybody? That if you belive in yourself and in your team everything is possible.
When he won the BMWs as a prize for the fastest lap, he had always give it as a gift to his team. Belive it or not not all the pilots are so generous with the team.
His team has rewarded him with hard work and they still belive that he is the best pilot they can work with.
His shirt CHE SPETTACOLO [translation: WHAT A SHOW]
is the perfect symbol of that year. An awesome show!
He is also responsible of the attention of all the world, even of the F1 Championship to the Motorcycle World Championship. Who have not heard of the tests Valentino did with the Ferrari?
If it sounds strange for you that Valentino likes cars, you probably don't know that he started with the go karts, just as Michael Schumacher did.
I higly reccomend you to buy the book of Valentino Rossi "What If I Had Never Tried It" trust me, even if you are not a fan of Valentino or if you don't love motorcycle, is just a great book!

During the last race [Estoril 2007] a spanish journalist talking with Loris Reggiani, said that Valentino should be considered as a "property" of the whole world, not only of Italy.
He is correct, what Valentino achieved for the beautiful world of the motorcycles nobody else ever did.
Everybody has at least heard of him.
Remember: if you drive your motorcycle on the road, helmet on your head, lights on even on daylight, drive safe and remember you are not on a track!

- Rossi is the 9 time world champion. It doesn't get any better. I have been on the track with Kevin Schwantz and he is great, but Rossi is the best that ever threw a leg over a bike.
