More Information on ValoreBooks
Not only is ValoreBooks a great place to buy you books, but you can also sell your books to other students. You can even connect with other students in your area by selling custom editions that are exclusive for your university. In the past if your bookstore didn't buy back these books from you than you were stuck with them, but with ValoreBooks you can sell almost any book. The best part of ValoreBooks is how the system naturally drives down prices. It's nice to buy books through a company that's mission is to keep prices as low as possible for the benefit of the students. Regardless of what your campus book store tells you, they are raking in quite the profits by selling books they buy straight from the publisher. And every time they get a new edition of a book, they stop buying back old editions which increase profits even more. The crazy thing is they do this with all subjects of books, even math. A couple of terms ago I bought a college algebra book and when I went to return it they told me they wouldn't buy it because they were going to be using a new edition for the coming year. Talk about frustration!
Now I'm pretty sure that there hasn't been any new amazing breakthroughs or discoveries in the field of college algebra in the last year, and yet the book store has a completely new book made. You're probably asking yourself why do they do this all of the time. It's because it's all about money, the more books they sell and don't buy back the higher profits will be, and that is why I refuse to buy my books from the campus book store. At first I shopped around at a few different places on the web and I eventually found ValoreBooks which has hands down been the most reliable and low cost way to get my textbooks.
The following data will give you a visual representation of the inflating textbook prices.

The Pros and Cons of Valorebooks
Valore Books Review continued...
So I came up with the following pros and cons for you to consider before buying or selling your books to Valore...
Valore Books Pros
Valore Books Cons
As you can see there aren't really too many cons to be found with Valore Books. If you are just trying to sell your books than Valore is a no brainer and I would highly recommend it. Another thing to consider if you are going to buy your books is if you might want to drop a class. Be sure that the books your order are for classes you plan to stick with so you can avoid taking a possible loss on selling them back. Besides that your good to go, just don't forget to jump on the Valore Books promotional code for the extra 5% off.

- I've been using Valore Books for about a year, (2 semesters, about to be my third time) and so far, I haven't had any trouble with them. I never had to return my books during the 30 days. I have rented books and the first time I did I had no issue. The 2nd time, they notified be via email that my duedate was coming up, but I neglected to remember. I ended up extending the dead line for $5 and received no other fees. They are the cheapest prices I have seen online and I save a lot of cash. The only thing I dislike about this site is that there are no coupon codes I can find that actually work. I hope this was helpful.

- This is the WORST internet sales company I have ever encountered. Their "Extra Mile" and Same Day Customer Service Guarantees are NOT followed. I email them over and over and do not get responses until days later. Their customer service phone lines goes straight to voicemail due to high volumes of calls all the time. Their actual customer service reps are incredibly incompetent and can't read their own data on orders and send emails to the wrong people. DO NOT USE THIS SITE FOR TEXTBOOKS!! I still haven't been given the refund I was promised over 2 weeks ago

- I should've known better than to buy from a little known company, but I wanted to save a small amount rather than order from the larger more well known book dealers. Unfortunately I ordered from valorebooks.com. Almost 3 days after I ordered, I was sent an email from valore saying simply that my order was canceled. That's it, no explanation, no refund, nothing. It was a good deal of money. I checked my bank account in the fear that I was somehow overdrawn, yet this was not the case. Now I'm forced to buy from the campus bookstore, with what little money I have left, and pray I have enough for food, gas, and all other family expenses until I get paid at the end of the month. I really hope at some point in time I receive a refund, as well as hope that I have not been duped by a total scam. I have never in my life been in such a predicament from the simple process of ordering books. I really hope this review helps anyone out hoping to "save a buck" with a less reputable book company.
Semper Fi,
Phill

- It's truly the worst experience. I ordered a book and we received it, however the same day we realized we no longer needed it and we didn't even open it so we took it back to the post office and the man took it and wrote "refused" on it and valore kept sending us emails saying my book is late and they are going to charge the full price if we don't return it. YET I RETURNED IT THE SAME DAY! after many many emails (they have no phone number) and very rude replies they would charge me the full price value of the book since they didn't receive it. We are out almost 130 dollars for a book i originally bought for 5 dollars. This is the worst company, they steal money, very unprofessional, pathetic attitude, the government should do something to deal with this shady company since it has been done apparently to others like me. There should be a way to stop them.

- Absolutely horrid. Stay far, far away.
I paid the fee to rent the book I had a bit longer and sent it back in the middle of January. The return slip wouldn't pull up from their site, their "customer service" was completely useless and so in the interest of getting it off of my plate, I decided to ship the book via UPS. The book was sent back to me from UPS weeks later and after the return deadline. It should also be mentioned that I had never received an email referencing when the book was due initially or when it was due after I made the rental extension. I did however, get the final email telling me that I was being charged for the full price of the book. When the book was finally shipped back to me from UPS, I called Valore and was told that I had to send documentation that I had shipped it via UPS by a certain date. I explained to them that I had thrown away the UPS box and shipped it from a UPS store, and therefore couldn't find my tracking number to get documentation. Not only wouldn't they agree to take the book back and return my money, the two people that I spoke with were extremely rude about it. I figured that if they were going to screw me they'd at least do it with a smile, but it didn't sound as if these two people had a pleasant bone in their respective bodies.
You would think that a fledgling company trying to build brand loyalty would be able to see the forrest for the trees. I am in my second semester of business school with hundreds of other students. The business that I stood to give them over the next two to three years myself and through recommendations would have far exceeded the $150 that they pried from me for the aforementioned book. As it stands, I will never use this site again and will recommend to everyone I come across to steer clear as well.
