To watch the talking heads try to dismiss her as 'in-experienced' or "she can't be that great of a mother, leaving her children to her husband" while she is on a quest to be the first-female VP was absolutely sickening. In particular was Paul Begalia on CNN. The things he said about John McCain and his vetting process; and Sarah Palin was just a woman from some insignifant state like Alaska.
Do these people live on the same planet? What are they drinking? Isn't Alaska the largest state in the UNION? Of course, let's not bring up the subject of OIL, and driling for it in the Tundra.
I saw abject fear! Yes, I said fear!
The thought that once again they could lose the White House is causing all kinds of irrational conversations.

On Saturday John McCain and Barak Obama will have a debate at the mega-church Saddleback. This is the church headed by Rick Warren renowned author of the book: The Purpose Driven® Life: What on Earth Am I Here For? I can't help but wonder what the world has come to.
A few years ago all we could hear from the media was separation of church and state; The churches are trying to create a theocracy in American;etc, etc, etc.
Now it appears as if the Church as run smack in the spotlight of a political campaign. Are the lines being blurred, or is this the way it should have been all along. Churches have always been a place for meetings, whether community, political,or spiritual. Are we now coming full circle?
Election 2008 is really going to be a hum-dinger.

Barack Obama is an interesting character. One-term senator running for president. Is he an agent of change or just a good ole boy, who has found a formula to convince us he's the best person to lead the USA Wow Election 2008 is Weird.in the Year 2008. For me the jury is still out. There are some things about him I like, there are others that are disturbing.
Like for instance where does he really stand on moral values?

John McCain is very old school. His conservative voting record is just that "his record". I find him well to be honest OLD! I know, I know this is not a way to determine if someone is qualified, but this is the first thing I notice. The second thing is the fact he seems to be arrogant and curt. I believe he would make a decent president; however, as a quote "evangelical", there seems to be a lack of respect for my faith and values. The way he has thrown well-known pastors under-the-bus bothers me.
