Contrary to popular belief, you can't quite get married on a whim at a drive thru like you're grabbing a fast food burger. There is ONE preliminary procedure to take care of first... getting a marriage license.

Clark County Marriage License Bureau is open 8:00 a.m. to midnight every day (including holidays) and there is no blood test or wait required to get the license. Just be age 18+ and pay the $60 fee.

You pay your $60 license fee, pick a wedding chapel, and that's it. You can spend as little as about $40 for a quick "I now pronounce you husband and wife" no frills ceremony, or pay more for fun options such as having an Elvis impersonator perform the ceremony.

We highly recommend Encore Las Vegas or Wynn as your honeymoon destination. (They're really the same property; just two different room towers.) If you prefer a frilly Renaissance style of architecture then we suggest Bellagio, Venetian, or Palazzo. Wynn and Encore have a modern, linear style. All five properties are extremely elegant, however, and demonstrate an extreme attention to detail. Your honeymoon memories will last a lifetime! Don't let those memories be of silly pirate ships, mummies or clowns.
