PEZ that make you go VOOOOM!
This lens will show you PEZ trucks, specialty trucks, the new PEZ Rigs, NASCAR PEZ and the cars of Pixar's CARS.
Pictured here is one of the new PEZ rigs, a brand-new line of big rig truck designs.
Pixar's "Cars" PEZ
These are brand-new, done as tie-ins for the movie
There are four PEZ dispensers that have just come out as tie-ins for Pixar's CARS movie. The plot is about a city race car that winds up stranded in a rural town that is populated entirely by cars. There are four characters available. The whole cars take the place of the heads, and they are set atop the stems angled, so that you get a top 3/4 view of them when you hold them.
Lightning McQueen is a race car, voiced by Owen Wilson. This is one of the only characters which was based on a generic car style. The red race car dispenser has a yellow stem to match the stripes and numbers on the car.
Doc Hudson, voiced by Paul Newman, is styled after the 1951 Hudson Hornet, made by Hudson Motor's of Detroit. This car was only produced in the 50s, and is drawn with Newman's trademark blue eyes. The dark blue PEZ car sits atop a red stem.
Sally, voiced by actress Bonnie Hunt, is a 2002 Porsche 911. This PEZ also carries a trademark from Porsche on part of the head. The light blue car sits atop an orange stem.
Mater, the classic tow truck, is voiced by Larry the Cable Guy. This brown truck shows the engine via an open hood and sits atop a bright green stem.

PEZ BUYERS TIPS:
When a truck PEZ says "no feet" it doesn't mean it's an older or more special one, as none of the truck designs have ever had feet. It means the seller is trying to drive the price up.
If you are looking for a desirable wheel feature, it's for the more complicated wheels that are described as ones that move or roll!
"Misfits" are PEZ dispensers made by the company with experimental or accidental color combinations. Whole batches are sold by the PEZ company to collectors, who then trade and resell them.
Fetching new data from eBay now... please stand byNASCAR Driver PEZ
I think the options that PEZ chose for the dispensers that represent the driver's of NASCAR were sound. Not only do the fans more quickly recognize the colors and numbers of their faves, having helmet heads sure is easier than trying to make PEZ that accurately look like those guys.Presently, there are seven drivers you can collect: Rusty Wallace #2, Kasey Kahne #9, Matt Kenseth #17, Bobby Labonte #18, Tony Stewart #20, Jeff Gordon #24, and Richard Petty #43.
NASCAR Pull n Go Car PEZ Dispensers
Shortly after the holidays, I was informed by some friends that a PEZ which had arrived at their house would be arriving at mine. This wasn't the first time a friend of mine was given something PEZ for an occasion and took one look at it and decided it would be better off living with me.They said it was a PEZ car, but it wasn't like any of the car-like PEZ I'd gotten before. These are big "pull n go" cars, which you drag backwards on the carpet before letting go and watching them zoom across the kitchen floor, frightening the cat and running over your mom's foot before hitting the wall. This was a #2, Rusty Wallace's car, but this one took PEZ and gave back the candies, as opposed to needing a tire change.
If you decide to collect all the cars, they match the seven drivers who are featured as helmeted PEZ dispensers: Rusty Wallace #2 driving Rusty's Last Call, Kasey Kahne in the number 9 Dodge, Matt Kenseth in #17, Bobby LaBonte in #18 for Interstate Batteries, Tony Stewart in the Home Depot car, Jeff Gordon in the Dupont car, and Richard Petty in the STP car.
PEZ Rigs
The PEZ "rigs" are a new series of trucks, produced in 2005 and just hitting the broader market now. There are eight new cab shapes/styles, and taking a clue from the more popular PEZ trucks of the past, the rigs have wheels that really move. Here's a shot of some of the new Rigs! They are less cartoony than the truck designs have been, taking many style cues from actual big rig trucks.

PEZ Trucks
The first series of trucks produced had moving wheels, the second one didn't have moving wheels. You really need to look at the cabs of the trucks to see the differences, don't operate by color combos alone, as there are many variations.
The truck PEZ shown here were photographed lying on their sides. You can see how the cab is the head and the stem is the truck container, with little wheels added.
Walgreen's Truck
This is a special limited edition of an 18-wheeler Walgreen's truck. I found mine at a Walgreen's and they are out on the general market, so take a look before you go online and pay a dealer's prices.
