"Not only is Lori of Venni Caprice the one who introduced me to Etsy, she's also...well it's easier to say what she's not, but I'll try. She's the fashion designer, sewer, pattern maker, photographer, marketer, networker, and model just to name a few. Collectively, Lori's many roles support her own fashion line, Venni Caprice.
Lori is currently working on her new spring line. Planning a collection involves predicting trends while maintaining the personality of the brand. For the most part, Lori's inspiration comes from the fabric - the stretch, the drape, or the color. Most of her designs are a result of her visualizing the piece in her head. Her visualization is then transferred to the finished piece, skipping the drawing step. I find that part amazing because it tells me she really knows her craft. As you can see from her shop, she's not afraid to try new styles. When she finds a style she really likes, she'll experiment with different fabrics. Then she'll experiment with different cuts, lengths, sleeves, etc. to best fit her customers needs and wants. She's versatile, and so are many of her garments.

Her extraordinary talent is evident in the success she's has both online and in boutiques. She puts every bit of care into each individual piece, creating couture fashion for her customers. And she's found a way to make most of her garments wearable more ways than one.
