... is called Malta. There are also the sister islands of Gozo, Comino and Filfla.
Gozo is the largest sister island, which has about 28000 inhabitants, while Comino, with its beautiful blue lagoon only has about 10 and Filfla has none.
Here we have about 3 months winter, 3 months spring / autumn and 6 months beautiful summer. The sea is crystal clear and makes diving a beautiful experience. The sea gets a temperature during summer of up to 28 C and is just amazing nice to swim. Sailing is absolutely fantastic, as within a maximum of 5 / 6 days one can get all the way to the east or west.
The Maltese people are very welcoming and have a very friendly way. Just about all of them speak very good English as it is the second national language besides the Maltese language.
There is lots of history on this little island. Which is so very interesting!!
