Welcome! We at Victoria's Curio are collectors also and have some wonderful finds to share with other fellow collectors.

Come visit us and take a look at our outstanding collection of antique and vintage porcelain from such companies as Rosenthal, R.S. Prussia, Hermann Ohme, Pickard, and Limoges. Our specialty (and favorite) is chocolate pots. But, you can also find tea sets, hand painted plates and bowls plus beautiful Sterling pieces. These items add elegance and sophistication to your home and are truly one of a kind.

Victoria's Curio also carries a wide range of upscale collectible and antique items such as EAPG and American Brilliant cut glass, sterling and silver plate, housewares plus wonderful jewelry pieces.

Featured here is a gorgeous Ladies 18 Karat white gold Edwardian engagement or promise ring. The center stone is a round European cut .10 carat diamond with a clarity of VS-1 and F-G color. This piece is accented by two marquis cut synthetic rubies.

Pickard Studios perfected the art porcelain market. But, at the turn of the 20th Century, hand painting porcelain was a much loved hobby of ladies and gentlemen.

Many dowry china sets and other decorative porcelain items were all hand painted. Some of these pieces have survived and are wonderful to display and appreciate as part of history.

The piece featured here is a hand blown Whiskey set that is decorated with white flowers.

Sterling Silver and Silver Plate at Victoria's Curio

Antique Silver Plated Brides Basket Brides Bowl Poole Silver Company Pink Enameled Cased Glass Bowl Ornate Silver Plate Holder

Victorian Silver Plate and Glass Bride's Basket Mt. Washington GlassFeatured here we have an outstanding example of a Victorian Bride's Basket or Bride's Bowl. These pieces were typically given as wedding gifts to the bride in the late 1880's to around 1905 when they fell out of favor. The bowl is pink burmese glass made by the Mt. Washington Glass Co. There is a hand painted enameled decoration of flowers and swags on the interior of the bowl.

The elaborate, extremely well made, silver plated holder is from the Poole Silver Company, Taunton. Mass. and is marked quadruple plate.
The handle has a twisted pattern with beading overlapping this. The top of the handle comes to a point in a flowery Art Nouveau pattern.

This is a stunning display piece!
