OK everyone, I would say it was about 8 months ago when I discovered this great opportunity. And prior to that I spent months researching this field a very "daunting task" in itself... "But one I was determined to unlock"

And finally after a lot of dissapointments I came accross this diamond in the rough. And have been having a blast ever since. It took about a year in total but it was well worth the effort of searchin out.

Well, I have to admit at first I thought this was a bunch of BS!! Then the further I researched and actually started to get involved with this I found out that the main reasons were they needed people to find as many Bugs in the games software as possible so they can correct the errors before releasing the games to the public.

So, as you can see Video Game Testers are a very integral part of the gaming industry. Without us testing these games... These gaming companies can suffer severe setbacks.

A great example would be... Let's say you are playing a third shooter game and all of a sudden the game takes a header each time you access a menu. " Not a Good Thing to Happen"

Remember these companies invest millions of dollars in game development,manufacturing, shipping,and not to mention marketing costs but not a single person will buy their game because of a glitch in the system.

Just as much as we love playing games... They love paying us for finding all the flaws their games may have because in the long run we save them millions of dollars if one game goes belly up!!

All this depends on the certain job you land.If you specifically looking for jobs say for the Xbox only. This will certainly limit your job offers.So, if you can manage to get your hands on a couple more systems or even one more system your jobs will increase dramatically!

But ultimately it's up to you... You can just apply for jobs that you like and test on whatever system that you have at the time.

From what I understand, most of all the testing jobs require absolutely no formal education.

also in most cases... You get paid up to $120 an hour. Of course this depends on your effort,knowledge, and experience.

Now some jobs are 9 to 5, while others are test whenever you want. So, it's up to you which you decide to opt for.

The only hard part is that you need to be 18 years of age or older to participate.
