Honesty About My Video Experience

November 23 2008 - I've held back on video blogging because I don't have great video equipment yet, but from what I've seen on YouTube, I may be able to start with my Kodak digital camera, which does videos.

I've found that I need to use a program called Rad Video Tools to change the file format of my camera's videos to .avi and then I can load them into Windows Movie Maker software (which came with my PC) for editing.

I have to admit I do have some experience with creating movies and posting them to the web. A few years ago I worked for the Great American Bigfoot Research Organization for the summer of 2005 and during that time filmed many movies which they added to their pay-per-view website. As I was also their web designer I also added one movie to their site. However, I've never posted a movie to a blog. Yet. I'm making this lens to focus on my video blogging education and to make all this information available to others who want to learn to do it.
