This article is introducing a mac MKV converter about how to convert M2TS to MKV on mac and convert MP4 and other format videos to mkv on mac.

Step 1: Add video source.

Click 'Add files' to add your m2ts video or other format videos.

 

Step 2: Select the mkv output format.

Select the output format. If you want to convert to mp4 mov or else format, just make a choise.

 

Step 3: Make some settings about the output file effect.

here is a demo about how to change default setting and other tips.

Video: Set video encoding settings by selecting a resolution, a frame rate, a bit rate and a video encoder.
Audio: Set audio encoding settings by selecting a sample rate, an audio channel, a bit rate and an audio encoder.
Tip: customize the video resolution by manually inputting the resolution values; change the output file name; change the output file save directory; snapshot; merge into one file and so on.

 

Step 4: Start convertion.

Click 'Convert' to start convertion.
That's all. Just have a rest to wait for the finish.
