Some people find the video game industry intimidating and think it is just full of well qualified programming experts.However, every new game needs to be tested throughly so that it is in proper working order when it hits the shelves.
There are no qualifications required to become a game tester. It does help if you are a reasonably able player and you will need a platform, either a PC or console, so that you can actually play the games.
Otherwise, all you need to become a games tester is the knowledge of who to approach and how to do so. A little effort and persistence on your part helps too!
