The Best Video Phone and Network!

The History of the Home Phone

Hasn't changed for 100 years....until now!

For many, the home phone was a creature comfort that we all took for granted for many years. We would just pay our bill religiously every month, never giving much thought to the price versus the value we were paying for.

Ever since Alexander Graham Bell patented the network of wires to allow voice transmission from landlines, fundamentally, the technology didn't change for over 100 years.

Consumers were akin to paying top dollar for just local service and then additional money for long distance. Some rural areas couldn't even justify calling a mile down the road because the call was considered "long distance" by the monopoly bell companies.

Forget about having to make an international long distance call....unless you wanted to sell your first born to do so!

We the consumers, just accepted it as the way that it was, and that was that.

Wireless

The Beginning of a Paradigm Shift

When cell phones came out, they weren't any more accessible to the masses than long distance. The cost was around $2 a minute. Mostly executives and "well-to-do" people had them. Originally, they were so big and heavy, they were more commonly known as "car phones".

Fortunately, for us consumers, this all changed in the late 90's. Electronics became smaller, lighter, and cheaper to develop. More cell towers went up and allowed for a larger customer base; therefore, bringing the cost to consumers down to an affordable level to many.

As cell phones became more and more attainable for the masses, wireless companies saw it as a opportunity to compete against the telephone monopolies. Wireless companies started to combine long distance into their plans, making it so, no matter what domestic number you called, there wasn't any additional long distance charges, just usage of minutes.

This was a very profitable idea for the wireless companies. Not having to worry about long distance charges, people got overzealous in using their minutes. Commonly, paying the additional minute fees.

Consumers got used to the convenience and mobility of the cell phone and no longer enjoyed being tethered to their house to place a phone call.

Enter the slow death of the home phone.

Now, don't get me wrong, Plain Old Telephone Service is still a very lucrative business. Actually its a 330 billion dollar a year lucrative business. Nothing to scoff at. But if you ask anyone under 30 if they have a home phone, they will look at you weird and laugh at you. "Nah, I don't have a home phone, I use my cell phone for my home phone"

Why? Because it has been a cheaper, all around answer until now....

VoIP For The Next Generation

The Resurgence Of The Home Phone

That same class of under 30 people are also the class that pre-dominantly is on the internet, and normally with a high speed service. VoIP is the answer. VoIP is Voice Over Internet Protocol. Basically its telephone service piggy-backing on a high speed internet signal. It's inexpensive, mobile and allows someone to have unlimited calling for under 30 bucks a month. Not only that, there is no hassles in moving or transporting the number. You can literally always keep the same number, since the phone number is programmed inside the equipment, similar to a cell phone.

  • By the year 2010 almost 267 million households worldwide will utilize Voice over Internet Protocol    (Digital Phone Service)
  • According to Market Wire, that is the equivalent of approximately 40% of all broadband users Nationwide!
  • Former FCC Chairman Michael Powell called Digital Phone Service the most significant shift in modern communications since the invention of the telephone.

The ease of use, features, and mobility have had consumers again deciding to have a home phone using VoIP. It's perfect for people of all ages, and yes, even those under 30 are opting to have a home phone again.

Natural Progression From VoIP

Video Phones and Opportunity

The digital video phone is now a reality. Many of us grew up watching video phones in operation during the Jetsons, 007, recently on 24, and the Transformers movie. This concept will revolutionize the telecommunications industry even more. Video phones are VoIP products with a camera and a screen added. With the ability of the high speed internet connections to now stream video to our computers, this has allowed technology to know introduce video phones. This is a new concept and you really have to experience it for yourself to fully understand it.

There is also a huge opportunity to capitalize financially on this breakthrough technology before it hits critical mass!!

What Seperates One Service From Another?

Its the Network!

You know there is a lot of VoIP companies coming up and trying to establish themselves as the the goto company for your VoIP solution. The biggest characteristic that seperates one from another is the network that it rides on. Its simply the quality of the network that will determine the quality of your call. Attempting to keep it as simple as possible. All VoIP phone calls are routed through what they call switches or nodes. They use redundacy or more than one node to handle the amount of calls without issues. This technique also provides for security if a national disaster happens or just possible system breakdown. Having multiple nodes or redundancy also provides for future growth. Allowing the company to stay far ahead of its competition.

When it comes to video transmission in addition to the VoIP, extra bandwidth and nodes are required. Its best to choose a company that has went the extra mile in the beginning to position themselves to handle the growth of their customer base and the growth of technology in general.

Visit VideoPhoneThing.com for information about a company that has taken all of these precautions and is leading the way in digital video phone service!

Make Money On The Trend

Don't Be A Spectator, Be A Participant!

Why not make money on the trend that is inevitably going to happen. Right now less than 1% even know about the video phone, and in less than 5-7 years, experts predict that it will be in 80% of households. That's great timing for those that take action.

There are a lot of companies, some network marketing companies, setting themselves up to capitalize on this shift. With network marketing, anyone has the ability to become a distributor of the voip technology and get a kickback every month as people pay their bill.

If you are interested in making money off of this technology, visit my site here Ritchie Inman You can also reach me on my cell phone 623-533-1673.

Here's a Million Dollar Tip

Shhh.........Your Voip Is Mobile

One of the great things about voip is that the phone number is stored inside the equipment, much like your cell phone. What this means is that if you travel or if you have people that you talk to internationally, this can present a large savings to you.

For the travelers, just take your phone with you and wherever there is a high speed internet connection, you can use your voip or video phone. You will still get the same great service and connect like you never connected before.

For example, I recently visited some family in Mexico and brought my video phone with me. I plugged it into their high speed internet and called one of my business partners in Arizona. Now because I have a U.S. phone number in my voip calling another U.S. phone number, there was no, I repeat, no international rates.

This impact is huge, especially, if you have family or friends overseas. You could simply purchase two voip or better yet two video phones here in the states. Keep one with you and then mail the other one overseas. Now the person overseas will have a U.S. phone number on foreign soil, allowing them to call unlimited back to the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. If you both have a video phone, now you will be able to see one another across the miles with no additional charge. Just the $29.99 monthly service fee!

If you are in the U.S. and would like to order your own services visit here. *Free Video Phone.

Voip is really great. I've been using a Voip system for over a year now, with my regular telephone, not a special one, and my computer doesn't even need to be on. I can call just about anywhere in the world for no more than my 25.00/month fee.
I highly recommend Voip.My goal is to eventually be able to get rid of the landline completely.
It's good to tell people about Voip.
