Ranked #61,372 in Business & Work, #643,047 overall

Helping You To Demonstrate Your Value Through Video

You have specialists in marketing, videoing, and social media. What's missing for most is a strategist. A strategist is a key person who brings it all together in a strategy to combine video and social media.

With the ability to take your own videos, how do you use this wonderful opportunity to demonstrate your best? How do you make sure you come across well and connect on video? It can be confusing and intimidating if you do not know how to talk to the camera, how to set a stage, how to recognize and edit rambling dialog into concise words and still be entertaining enough to have your customers watch you from beginning to end.

Viditude has the skills to help you prepare, produce, and promote you. With video, our goals are:
  • To find ways to connect to your potential customers; converting them to real customers.
  • To help you increase revenue and market share.
  • To demonstrating your value through video.

How To Use Videos

What They Do For YOU

Videos can be placed any where in your digital world. You can place your video on your:
  • Website
  • Blog
  • Facebook page
  • LinkedIn page
  • Slideshare
  • Squidoo Page
  • YouTube or Vimeo channel
  • or ANYWHERE YOUR CUSTOMERS VISIT ONLINE

Videos become viral when shared by you and your visitors share:
  • between Facebook friends
  • eMailed to others
  • Tweeted to followers
Provide your friends, customers, clients, prospective employers something to share. Create a compelling video that spreads.

What style of video is right for you?

Don't just pick one...just start with one.

type=textHere are just five style of video's you can create:

1. Testimonial: Video testimonials are great for building trust with potential customers. Potential customers see the passion existing customers feel and further illustrate that you know what you are talking about. Gather 5 to 10 second comments of customers talking about their perceived value, thereby eliminating what may be a common objection.

2. How To/Demonstration: These are instructional videos for the do it yourselfers. They are related to what you have to offer without being promotional. They are educational, such as how to brine a turkey. Martha Stewart has created a real brand illustrating how to create wonderful things for the home. Some people may actually attempt creating some of them. Most of the viewers watch in awe. It doesn't matter. She built a brand as an "expert" with her how to knowledge. Make a list of 5 how-to topics surrounding one aspect of what you sell.

3. Informational: This is not a commercial. These are reviews. It is providing your personal opinion about related products and services. If you are a photographer, talk about different cameras, tripods, and flashes. You may sell these products, but that's not the goal. The goal is to help you think like your customer. Think about what viewers (consumers) are looking for in a product (ease of use) and how the product fares. Your goal is to HELP your customer and build trust. Trust leads to sales. Consider what other expertise you can offer beyond your products for a different series of videos. You can be the historian describing little known facts about your industry. Make a list of 5 historic trivia about your industry.

4. Interviews: It's just not guilt by association%u2026its credibility by association. This is why it is so important to always keep your camera with you. So many experts are willing to be part of your video. After all, it helps promote their brand as well. If you bump into one of these experts on the street, ask if you can take a 1 minute video clip. Remember, luck is preparedness meeting opportunity! Have 5 questions in your head before you ask for the interview. If you sell school products, interview teachers. Ask the teachers about what they do (not how they use your product). Share the wealth of information and increase your trust. Your viewership will be impressed because you are able to get the interview.

5. Promotion: Promotional videos are more commercial-oriented. It is perfect for "product launch"; announcing a new offering to your already loyal viewers. You may be talking about the book you are selling, a special product deal, a new house that recently became available, or a new webinar. When you do create a promotional style video, the goal is to be enticing and short. Mention your "offer". Include a call to action (act now and receive 10% off your purchase). This "selling" style video should be the last style of video you implement. People will watch your promotional video AFTER you have earned their trust through any of the other styles of video. People are wise to know that a movie trailer shows the best part of the movie (and may only be the best parts of the movie). Put this style video towards the end of your to-do list.
