Classic and vintage cars are almost automatically considered rare since they are already out of production. The Classic Car Club of America defines a classic automobile as produced between 1925 and 1948, high priced when brand new, and was produced in limited quantities.
Antique and vintage cars are often restored to their original condition and so demonstrate pieces of history. They are also often upgraded in order to take advantage of modern engine and transmission advancements.
Owners tend to avoid using them so much as they may be damaged or destroyed. Also, if the vintage car is a model that is highly significant, meaning many people have admired them and praised them, they can be much more expensive, especially when restored to their full glory.
