Why vintage? This is a question that needs no answer for those of us who love it. We're all kindred spirits and to explain the 'why' would be like asking an artist to explain why they love art. They just do. It's part of who they are.

If you've made it to this Squidoo lens and have read this far, then it's more than likely you're one of us and I welcome you with open arms! If you're just dipping your toe in the proverbial vintage pond for the first time, you're also welcomed with open arms and I promise it won't be long before you're completely hooked!

This lens will feature a bit of history, many of my online vintage friends and finds, as well as some of my own inventory. While I don't consider myself an expert by any means, I have collected a veritable treasure chest of vintage research over the years and will share the very best of what I have with all of you here. I'll cover vintage clothing, accessories and jewelry from as early as the roaring 20's all the way through to the rad 80's. I'll also include tips as to how you can incorporate yesterday's fashion into your wardrobe affordably and with style. Whether you're new to vintage fashion or an old hat (pardon the pun), I hope to inform and inspire you with this lens.
