I love these Vintage Surf posters by surf artist Wade Koniakowsky.
Wade grew up in Texas, surfing on the Gulf, but in 1978 he moved to California. He now lives in Carlsbad, California were he has a painting studio and a digital studio.
Wades early work is more graphic and figurative, inspired by poster design After putting the brush down for a 25 year long career in the advertising industry Wade is now creating beautiful surfing posters once again! His most recent work includes a new series of tonalist wave scenes in a more muted palette.
