This lens ignited so many wonderful memories... the years 1960 to 1969 was some of the most memorable years for me. The 4 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas seemed like an eternity!...now 4 weeks goes by in a blink of the eye.

What really has been burned into my memories was the family gathering of uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents and grandchildren. The wonderful smells of foods and deserts prepared for our Christmas feast. The love and sense of family has been a sustaining pillar of endurance for me over 4 decades.

Although most of of my large family is deceased...I still remember very vividly the those wonderful years of love. Thanks for the memories!

I was a bit late getting here for the 60's but it's one of my favorite eras. Comes in at a close second to the 50's anyway. In regards to mini skirts I have this to say. Kids don't know how to dress these days. Some times I just get a bit sick of seeing pants hanging half way down there underwear or g string sticking out of the top. I hope they enjoy seeing photos of themselves when they're revisiting their glory days. lol. They'll probably be saying the same thing about their kids when they're older and wiser.

Have you noticed that the mini-dress is "in" again. Except, of course, girls today do seem to have way less modesty that those of us who wore them in past generations. But, then, I remember wearing hot pants so... LOL
