Priceless Christmas Decor Online!
Do you remember sitting on the floor anxiously watching grandma open boxes of antique Holiday Decorations? It was so exciting to see old newspaper peel away revealing all types of classic lighting, glass angels, ornate Christmas stockings, etc.. I remember the warmth and love she put into every aspect of preparing for Christmas; the home cooked meals... the handmade gifts... heartfelt expressions in the truest spirit of giving. I'm so grateful to be able to share the essence of those wonderful Christmas's past with my family. I still own many of Grandma's keepsakes and Christmas decorations. Something as simple as a Classic angel atop the tree or a tranquil nativity scene adds an undeniable nostalgia and warmth that is contagious throughout our house at Christmas time. Many of you share similar memories from your childhood, while many others, not old enough to remember the good old days are preparing to create brand new holiday traditions of their own. Either way, adding antique lighting and or shiny porcelain ornaments, etc. will enhance the feel of this holiday season beyond you and your families wildest imaginations.

I feel so very blessed and fortunate to have such a beautiful family to share in the most significant of holiday seasons, Christmas. There is no other holiday which embodies the spirit of peace, love, sharing, sacrifice and giving the way that Christmas does. It's such an honor to carry the mandate of teaching my child about selfless giving.
So many families are experiencing trials and hardship right now, including my own. Many families are on the brink of or have already imploded, overwhelmed by , among other things, the stress and pressure of simply making ends meet on a daily bases. It's tough right now...
Sometimes, no matter how much we want to work things out we just can't manage to move self out of the way.
That brings me to a life situation that an aqcuaintance of mine recently shared with me; by his permission, bound by a vow that he would maintain his anonymity, I want to share his story with you all ......
"After many weeks of discussion and debate about many of the things that spouses discuss and debate, my wife and I had reached a stalemite. A very cold and lonely truce of sorts.
This past weekend we were quietly unpacking wreathes and outdoor lights preparing to decorate for Christmas.Technically, we weren't speaking... My wife came across a small box labeled "K&L Love". A few minutes later I noticed that she had stopped packing. I turned to see her standing there staring intensely at an old Christmas card in her hand.Suddenly, Tears began to stream down her face.
She looked up @ me, reached out her hand and handed me the card.
It was a christmas card from 1994 . I had given it to her on our fourth Christmas together. As i began to read the card for myself a rush of emotions began to swell up inside of me.
I must admit the remote possibility that I may have shed a tear or two myself. Anyway....
There in my hand was a small homemade Christmas card. Pasted inside was a picture of Lisa and I standing in front of my mothers ancient artificial Christmas tree. There were antique candles lining the window sill behind us and we were locked in a very warm and passionate K-embrace.
I remember that night, as did my wife, very vividly....
There in the den of my parents house, surrounded by countless antique Holiday relics and decorations; warmed by the flickering light of more then fifty candles, we had decided to commit wholeheartedly to spend the rest of our lives together.
One look at that small, crinkled seemingly insignificant hand made card spoke to each of our hearts in a way that we had long ago abandoned. One look back at the warm loving atmosphere that Christmas time with family creates sparked a sense of it's not to late, in my heart.
I am in love with my wife and she with me yet, somehow we lost the patience and humility to continue breathing life into that love. We got lazy no longer excercising it through our words & actions towards one another.
I have no doubt in my soul that everything is going to work out for the best.
We love each other and put God first in all things."
Can you relate to their struggle?
Is there something that you possess, a memory, a keepsake, anything that can be used to rekindle the flame or just brighten up your day.
Maybe your relationships and life are just as you would have them be, perfect. even if that is the case, there's something about Christmas, it's relics and traditions that seems to brighten up even a the most bubbly disposition!
An ornament sparks a joyful child hood memory; a box of hard pastel string lights envokes pictures of dad on a ladder hanging them around the roof while great smelling things were being cooked in the kitchen.
The treasures of Christmas; decorations, lights, gift's, greeting cards, etc.. have always been and always will be priceless in terms of what they add to the life and feel of the holiday experience. These timeless holiday trinkets passed down from generation to generation far outshine the momentary luster of any new gadget or gizmo that is great while it's new but quickly forgotten about as time goes by.
Until we chat again...
May you all have a very special Holiday season.
Peace & Love ... Kevin
