Vintage Marbles
I have had an interest in vintage marbles for quite some time, and have just discovered squidoo as a great way to share my passion for vintage marbles and hopefully learn even more from like minded people.
Although I only have a small collection of vintage marbles in comparison to some serious collectors, my stash is growing as is my love for collectible marbles.
I actually have around two thousand marbles at the time of writting this. Many are almost worthless in terms of money value but I do have a few that help my collection of marbles have an estimated value of over a thousand pounds and I am still identifiying many now.
There are so many different vintage marbles it makes a great collection idea. From priceless handmade marbles crafted in the 1800's to mass produced machine made Japanese catseyes the choice is endless. I encourage anybody who has a few marbles laying around to dig em out and see if you can identify them, (I'll be posting some great links to superb souurces for this in the very near future.) but be warned, once you start looking into the classic marbles you had hidden away you'll be hooked!
Today I would like to share with you a link to a new vintage marbles blog. Right from the very first post its full of sweet vintage marbles info and gives another view to my own on collectible marbles. Have a look I'm sure you'll like it.
Check back soon to see some of my favourite marbles from my collection, examples and tips of great vintage marbles and please please please anything marbles is cool here so let us see yours!

As a fellow marble collector, I enjoy all marble lenses. I would love to add many nice handmades (german swirls, sulfides, onionskins, etc) but mainly have vintage marbles from the 40-'60's. If I was rich, I'd have a monster collection. Proud to be the first to rate you and am favoriting and lensrolling you. Keep up the good work and lets keep in touch if we need help iding a certain marble.
