Do You Love Mixed Media Too?
I fell in love with vintage mixed media and collage last year and ever since have been enjoying creating new art work to share. This is one of my favourite collages. Since I am a chocoholic is seemed fitting :D It is actually a greeting card and is available to buy at my website: Buy Chocolate Queen Greeting Card.
I'm working hard atm to create lot's more art and crafts to add to the site so make sure you sign up to my e-zine to be updated when new goodies are available.

How to Create A Vintage Background
by Niki Jackson
Large sheet of watercolour paper
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad - Vintage Photo
Water Spritzer Bottle
Gold Ink Pad
Scroll writing background stamp large
Directions:
This technique is awesome for making vintage backgrounds which can be used for lot's of different paper crafts.
Step 1: Take your watercolour paper and screw it up making sure there are lot's of creases in it all over the sheet. When you are finished take your vintage photo ink pad and rub all over making sure to highlight the creases in the paper. When all the paper is covered in a light coating of ink, you don't want to coat it too heavily, spritz with the water all over the page which will make the ink run.
Leave to thoroughly dry before going onto the next step.
Step 2: Once your paper is thoroughly dry you are ready to start stamping! Ink up your large scroll text background stamp with the gold ink pad. Then stamp over the whole page making sure you stamp close enough so that there are no blank spaces or rough edges.
Leave to dry. Now you have an awesome vintage background that you can cut up and use for anything you wish!
Enjoy.
