I sell a nice variety of Sewing Patterns including Vintage and Current Sewing Patterns from Vogue, Butterick, McCalls, Simplicity, Folkwear and Burda with patterns for Weddings, Bridesmaids, Theatre Costumes, SCA, Ren Fairs, Halloween, Maternity, Infants, Toddlers, Crafts, Home Decor, Dolls, Shanti and Plus Size, HOAX and others! The Vintage patterns include the Roaring 20s through the Disco 80s with lots of Sexy 60s, Flirty 50s and Fabulous 40s in-between. Come see What-I-Found!
I travel all over the country finding great sewing patterns, both old and new for all ages, sizes and eras. I think vintage sewing patterns are art, I think they are history, I think vintage and new sewing patterns are practical. I want others to share these wonderful slices of history...as collectors or doing what they were designed to do ...make stuff! For generations they were the only way to get the clothes you wanted and now they are the best way. Make things that fit, that last, that are unique. How rare is that today? And it's something you can do for yourself. Sewing is easier than you think. You can do this!
I travel all over the US and find patterns all over, in big cities and tiny towns. So chances are I have that long lost pattern you remember, or a pattern that you never saw before. Come find inspiration.
I have sold online for years now and have a good reputatation ( You can check my eBay feedback here.) My patterns are mailed in clear plastic covers and I mail them to you First Class, usually the next day after payment. I want you to get and enjoy them soon! Here's a wonderful 1944 Vogue Pattern for Gloves.
There is nothing as ladylike and romantic as Gloves. They have always meant the woman was protected and elegant, a true fashion statement. If you want to get the total effect of the proper lady you could use this pattern to accent several of your outfits. Mitts for a wedding, wrist length for a day dress, longer for your evening gown or even mittens for snow...you need never be without proper hand coverings. Making them for yourself might be a new experiance, but you love a challange!
If you don't know what size of glove you wear just lay your hand flat and measure around your knuckles, but do not include your thumb.

One of the extreme delights of every women is to be well and attractively dressed. Fortunately, with modern dressmaking methods she can with little effort, construct for herself and for her family complete wardrobes at a minimum of expense.The important factor in securing a garment of smart appearance, pleasing to yourself and admired by your friends, is the proper selection of pattern and fabric in relation to each other, as well as to your own particular type and personality.
You should study yourself and learn by experience which lines look best on you and which colors are most becoming.
Should you be doubtful as to what is best suited to you and what is your proper size, it will pay you well in dress contentment, to secure help from competent people in the stores from which you buy your piece goods.

My sister actually wore a couple of these patterns in the 60's while in high school. Your lens is great! These vintage patterns are an inspiration for new fashion trends. Right now, we're seeing a strong influence from the 70's and 80's. It's such a great treasure to be able to use the 'authentic/original' patterns to create updated fashion silhouettes.
