Games and Toys of the 1950s
Toys and games that were popular in the 1950s emphasized creativity and physical activity. How many of us had our creative roots while immersed in a pile of play doh, or by using silly putty to copy the Sunday comics and then stretch them into different shapes? Did your daily outdoor activities include the hula hoop, roller skating (the metal kind with the key), or running around with your BB gun trying not to shoot anyone in the eye?

Games and Toys of the 1960s
In the 1960s many toys and board games were based on TV shows. Some examples are Blind Date, the Match Game, Concentration, The Beverly Hillbillies, and so on. Think of your favorite TV show from that decade and there was probably a game somehow associated with it (even if it was a very loose association).

- I've always loved vintage toys...there's just something more magical about them than toys that just came from the store. Thanks for the time-warp! 5 stars and a 'roll!

- Wonderful lens, 5 stars. I used to love playing a board game in the 1960s called King Zor - it was a dinosaur game where you collected different colored dino eggs to match the playing pieces, which were all different colored dinosaurs. Haven't seen it since! Welcome to the Collector Clubs group!
