Violin for Beginners - Learning is easier than you think!

Finding information on violin for beginners can seem very overwhelming!  This is exactly what I experienced when I decided to learn how to play the violin myself.

I would find expensive systems all promising to teach me how to play the violin in quickly and easily.  I spend valuable time and money on books which were poorly written and extremely confusing! Sound familiar?

Then, I checked into taking private violin lessons.  I was told I would need to take 1-2 violin lessons a week at $50 each time.  Well, needless to say this was not an option.

After buying a violin and spending money on these books which didn't work, I almost threw in the towel until I finally found a website that gave me the tools I needed to learn to play: MyViolinForBeginners.com .  Within minutes I was playing my first song and finally able to put that violin I'd bought to good use!

What is the proper violin for beginners?

How to pick your first Violin without breaking the bank!

violin for beginnersThere are basically two types of violins: student and professional. The main difference between the two is the time that goes into crafting them. When you first start learning to play, the recommended violin for beginners is the student model.

You can buy your student violin from a local music store, search for one on Craigslist or you may want to check out the deals online from sites like Amazon.com. You'll be surprised at how much cheaper buying a violin online can be!

Once you have your violin and bow you are ready to get started learning. Just as with learning anything new - learning to play the violin requires some dedication and a good teaching program. That is why I was so lucky to stumble on MyViolinForBeginners.com before I got frustrated with all of the books i used trying to teach myself the violin!

The video system really helps you see exactly where your fingers should go, how you should hold your instrument and how you hold your bow. It was like having an instructor sitting in the same room and for a fraction of the price of what private lessons cost!
