Virginia Beach is an excellent family vacation destination. It has recreation, attractions, great accomodations and a nice climate.Virginia Beach is part of the Hampton Roads area of Virgina, which has a wide range of activities for visitors.
Virginia Beach is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, warm water and family oriented boardwalk. Visitors will find a nice array of motels, restaurants, shops, amusements, decks, dance clubs and shopping facilities.

Another stop worth visiting is the Virginia Beach fishing pier. Here, are likely to catch fish, even with no experience. The staff and fellow fishermen are usually more than willing to share experiences and local tips.
