Virtual families

Virtual families is a similar game to the sims, developed by Last Day Of Work who brought us the hugely popular virtual villagers games.

The game starts with you adopting a little person, once you have chosen your adoptee, they then move into your house, a little two bedroom house that is fully furnished, it also contains a kitchen, lounge, bathroom, study/home office, seperate workshop and a garden.

Once the game has started you will start to receive marriage proposals via e-mail. It is up to you to vet these proposals to find an ideal mate for your little person. Just make sure to pick a suitable match if you want your little person to be happy and succesfully start there own familiy.

It is up to you to instruct your little person as to what they need to do such as picking up wrappers, picking the weeds in the garden and putting away the shopping. You can praise them for there good behaviour whilst scolding them for bad behaviour, teaching then right from wrong. You will also need to encourage your little friend to work by dragging them to there place of work, depending on there chosen occupation this will either be the kitchen, home office/study or the workshop. Your little people earn money everytime they have successfully finished working and also have the chance to earn promotions which earns them a payrise. They can also spend there hard earned money in the store where they not only sell the essential food but also upgrades for your house aswell as outfits and other treats for your little people.

What makes this game value for money is the fact that it is essentially never ending. You will find as your people grow older they will either pass away or move out of the house allowing there children to take over the house allowing the game to continue with different charectors.
