It really is easy once you know how to get the job done. I am going to help you find your way through the maze of get rich systems that don't work. The only person getting rich is the one that sold you the book, video, e-zine, etc.
I have run across all sorts of crazy money making fads most of them have to do with auto-generated content sites, pay-per-click arbitrage and other risky schemes.
It's not that these methods don't work for some people. It's just that they are not designed to produce real, long-term income.
What are left are the same old-fashioned marketing business models of in-demand products and services.
Information products are still king since content motivates potential customers. Now is the time to pick a proven business model and work with it from the ground up with a plan.
The real money is generated by owning a real business and doing what you do best. Do what comes natural and what you enjoy.
Squidoo is the perfect place to get your feet wet. Try something new ... have fun with it. In the meantime, you may just make some extra money and learn something in the process.
My daily routine
So I didn't comb my hair. No one cares.
My routine is simple. I get up at 5:45 a.m., make coffee, feed the cat. Then I take my coffee into the office and download emails, printout work orders for the day, check voice mail. Time to get my husband's breakfast, wake him up with a quick massage, make his lunch and send him and the guys off to work. It is now 7 a.m. and I go downstairs [clean the litter, yuck] put in a load of wash. I get the bird food and squirrel food and go outside to feed my furry friends and finally sit down to have my breakfast and a second cup of coffee.I keep my portable phones with me [don't you just love our wireless technology] while doing my chores and throughout the day when I walk out of my office so that I am always reachable to my customers and the guys in the field. I also have a notebook computer with wireless connection that I can take with me if I will be away from the office for any length of time. I need to keep up with the email orders from our websites and documents shared from my out of state or country clients.
I like having the notebook computer rather than a Blackberry or iPod because I can still access our database program from my flash drive when I am away and access my email through Mozilla Thunderbird which I prefer to Outlook.

My tips for keeping a good work-life balance from home
Keep it simple. When all else fails, go shopping!
I think the key to keeping your sanity when life overwhelms you is to stay focused, motivated and committed while cutting out all of the noise out there. I try not to allow other people to "rain on my parade". It also helps that I have a wonderful husband with a fantastic sense of humor. When things really get one of us down, our peace of mind is just a phone call away. We can count on one another to offer the support the other one may need at the time of "crisis".I am not just talking about a real crisis ... it may just be a total frustration of the job or person we are dealing with that day. As confident as I may be ... I still feel unsure of myself when faced with a project that is new to me or when I am in information overload and don't knowing how or where to start. Bill will ground me and remind me that "I can do it". And that is what I do; I break down the information overload by investing in and learning only the stuff that complement and enhance the different components of the big picture.

Readers: Do you work from home, too?
I really hate commuting so working from home fits me perfectly. It allows me to work when I want and take time to do what I need to do during the day when everyone else is in the office working. I don't stand in long lines at stores, get all the sales attention I want, and sometimes I can even haggle over price when the store is so empty during the day. Works for me. My otherwise commuting time becomes my leisure time.
