Meet Lisa Duhamel, Owner of Virtually Ready 

Meet Lisa

Virtually Ready, Inc. is owned and operated by Lisa Duhamel. She began her career in the Virtual Assistance industry 10 years ago when she was searching for a solution to help support her family as a struggling military spouse and mother of two boys. Since she possessed strong administrative skills, she invested in her first computer and avidly searched for new ways to utilize her skills from home. She connected with her family's military sponsor and volunteered to assist with the division's family-oriented website. Shortly thereafter, she began working as a sole-proprietor on a contract basis utilzing the skills and tools she had gathered.

In a short amount of time, she learned a great deal about online communication and web development and utilized that experience to the best of her ability. Lisa took her skills to a higher level when she began her own Virtual Assistance business, Virtually Ready. She is married to Joseph Duhamel, aka: "JoeDu", who is the Owner of Avalon Design Unlimited, Inc. and an Art Director by trade. The couple often joins forces on their projects to create a streamlined experience for their clients. They have also collaborated on many volunteer projects and have provided sponsorships for their favorite charities as well.

Having been an avid music lover all her life, Lisa has played a very active role in online music-oriented communities that include annual events such as The Rock Boat, hosted by platinum recording artists, Sister Hazel. Most recently, Lisa was invited to lay the foundation for a Sister Hazel fan based non-profit organization of which its members are affectionately known as "Hazelnuts". Thus, she is the founder of NUTS United - Neighbors United Through Song.

Lisa loves sports as well (especially baseball!) and can also be found cheering on her favorite teams, including volunteering valuable time to her children's teams as well.
