Hi, i am Peter and i am the owner of several online shops and affiliate promotion sites. What you are about to read is my own experience with these sites and how the software program i am about to review changed things.

As a online shop owner i am always looking for ways to increase my sales and when i discovered about one year ago that i was loosing 76% of the people who actually came to my site to buy something i was shocked !!! When sifting through my stats i found out that 76 out of each 100 visitors that placed something in their shopping cart abandoned the shopping cart before finalizing the purchase ! 

When i saw these numbers i was really shocked. As you surely know it takes a lot of time and effort to get visitors to a site and when 76 out of 100 only come to pay you a visit because they abandong the shoppingcart to early , well that is costing you a lot of money especially when you rely on pay per click advertising in order to get them to your site.

So i started to search the internet for solutions and i actually found a lot of tips that seemed promising and some of them actually did make a difference but after 6 months of tweaking and testing the shopping cart abandonment was still at 68% ! I managed to reduce it by 8% which is not bad. It was like giving me a payment raise of 8% and i was happy with it but not completely. There were still 68 out of 100 people leaving my shopping cart without buying.

A couple of weeks ago i was browsing around and accidently came on a site that sells military gear and i placed some items in my cart but i was interupted by a telephone call and when i returned to my pc i didn't want to buy these things anymore. So i closed the window but when i tried to do so a chat window popped up and what seemed to be a personal assistant started to chat with me telling me about a special discount that only was available through the chat and only once ???

What do you think what happened ?

The personal assistant turned out to be a virtual chat bot that was programmed to help me with some questions that could pop-up in my buying process and the bot offered also a contact possibilities with a life personal assistant through email. And yes i took the special offer. It was a discount of 8% on my purchase. The whole process was non intrusive and the bot even though it was just a virtual caracter made a nice impression on me so i started to investigate about it and ended up with buying this personal sales assistant software for my sites.

I installed the software on 2 sites, one of them a online shop and the other one an affiliate site and i started to do some extensive tracking on the affilate sales and shopping cart abandonment.

To my big surprise people really did interact with this robot and this little piece of software was such an effective salesman that it reduced the premature shopping cart abandonment on my online shop by 40% !!!
