The 3.0" Visco2 Memory Foam Topper Extends the Life of Your Old Mattress
Is your old mattress giving you a pain in the neck (or back)? Did you know that a memory foam mattress topper can save you the huge expense of buying a brand new mattress? You put the mattress pad over your old mattress and - wow - talk about a good night's sleep! This is exactly what happened to me. I got a 3.0" Visco2 Memory Foam Topper, and now I'm really enjoying my bed again.

Is this memory foam mattress really comfortable?
The 3.0" Visco2 Memory Foam Topper is a full 3 inches of memory foam cut in the shape of your bed, that you place over the mattress. I hemmed and hawed over buying a 2 inch pad, or upgrading to a 3 inch. What convinced me to go with the 3 inch was the condition of my old mattress underneath. My husband and I got it way back in 1995. You could see and feel the indents in the mattress where our bodies went!The 3.0" Visco2 Memory Foam Topper was obviously more expensive than a 2 inch, but when I factored in the cost of a brand new king size mattress, I decided to take the plunge and just go for it the 3 inch.
The 3.0" Visco2 Memory Foam Topper is also made with what the makers call "breathable" memory foam. I love to read at night before I turn the lights out, and now I can again. This mattress topper really is cool and comfortable. I compare it to an egg crate mattress topper at my mother's house- I feel like I'm suffocating when I lay on her guest bed, it's too dang hot.
Apparently the Visco2 is also composed of environmentally friendly materials. My mom's egg crate topper feels and smells like it's made in a toxic waste plant (sorry Mom I love you, but it's true).
With the climate of the current economy being the way it is, if you are in the market for a new mattress, maybe you can get a few more good years out of your old mattress like me with a Visco2 3 inch memory foam topper.
Now here's the kicker-- my parents just stayed at our house for a few days and they used our bed. My Mom and Dad were raving about our brand new mattress. I told them it was a mattress topper, but they are at the age where they only hear what they want to hear. So they still think I have a new bed, lol!

- It is made of polyurethane. A memory foam pillow is available in many types. The essential and the most important virtue of a memory foam pillow is its contouring ability. When there is pressure applied to the pillow, it creates a contour and refreshes once the pressure is removed. Mostly, the pressure is applied with the head when trying to rest which is an inclination of the memory foam pillow to be adjustable. mattress topper

- It's possible that you don't want to spring for the full expense of a memory foam mattress, but you'd still like to enjoy some of its considerable benefits, such as excellent nights of sleep, body support, and enjoying the way the foam contours itself to you but returns to its own shape in the mornings. If you add a foam mattress topper onto your regular mattress, then you might derive virtually all the same comforts, but at a considerable saving to the pocketbook. You might think of the topper as a mattress enhancer, rather than an entire change of bed. latex mattress topper

- A density of three to five pounds is found to be comfortable by most people for memory foam topper. A three pound density is on the softer end. Original Tempur-pedic beds were manufactured with five pound density material. It turned out that many folks anticipated a much softer initial 'feel' once they got into bed. Therefore the more recent Tempur-Pedic designs have softer top comfort layers the same as the one available on this mattress.

My personal update- I have had my Visco2 for 7 months now and it has held up just great. We love our bed. We even got my parents to get one for their guest bed and my sister bought one too. My family loves these mattress toppers.
