I have worked in both ministry and business for over 30 years, been involved in resourcing, networking, and coaching hundreds of new churches, and I appreciate the present schools of thought for how to plant a church (I really do), but I yearn for somthing more....

....more community impact than we ever thought possible, more humility and honor than the unchurched ever thought possible, broader in influence and community partnership than the narrow confines of religious circles, more listening and therfore more insightful actions, more empowering of people's God-given dreams, more incarnational and less attractional, more redeeming of purpose (individal, family, neghborhood, and community), more strategically holisitic in our search for just and systemic solutions, less one-way communication and more meaningful two-way conversations (personal and media-powered), far more missional and far less extractional, more functional unity, synergy and cross-church collaboration, more "in the world" and less "of the world," more creative and innovative, willing to ask 'what if' and 'why not' questions, more Kingdom minded, looking of the treasures of Glory and Purpose in people, and more imaginative and visionary in the planting of Kingdom initiatives, dream incubators, and transformational villages, until redeemed purpose and the Father's "glory covers the earth as the waters cover the sea."

I hope this lens will be a good place to to assemble some of the best ideas, practices, strategies in pursuit of the "more" we all desire.
