KLCCA charming history dating back to the 15th century when Melaka was vital world trading port, has turned Malaysia multicutural land of extreme contrast.
Travelling in Malaysia is a heart-warming experience due to its people, while its first-world infrastructure makes for a convenient and comfortable stay.
The time is now, the place is Malaysia

MALAYSIA

Why Travel to Malaysia?

Malaysia offers two distinct experiences - the mainland [peninsula] and the island of Kalimantan [Borneo].
The mainland is sophisticated, efficient and thoroughly comfortable, epitomised by the modern, multicultural capital, Kuala Lumpur, while the Cameron Highlands are cool and colonial, with pleasant little old towns, and wild walks. Adjacent Taman Negara National Park is an evocative big-tree jungle, though hardly loaded with beasts, unless leeches are considered beastly.
Beach resorts offer guaranteed heat and mostly sun, with clear seas and fine sand.
Kalimantan [Malaysian Borneo] is the place to do the really wild thing in a primitive environment, with exotic Dayak tribes, an ancient jungle sporting ancient and endangered creatures such as the orang utan, as well as mountains and spectacular caves.
Prices for individual travel in Malaysia are reasonable, especially on the mainland, food is excellent and life is mostly relaxed and safe.
However, there's little in the way of ancient sights or traditional native culture on the mainland, compared to the neighbours, the weather is usually oppressively hot and humid and Kuala Lumpur makes for poor walking and holds little interest.

About Malaysia

Peninsular Malaysia (Mainland) occupies most of the Malayan Peninsula between Thailand and Singapore, and is also known as West Malaysia. It is home to the bulk of Malaysia's population, its capital and largest cityKuala Lumpur, and is generally more economically developed.
West Coast - the more developed side of Peninsular Malaysia, with the states of Kedah, Malacca,Negeri Sembilan,Penang,Perak,Perlis and Selangor, and Malaysia's capital city Kuala Lumpur and the new administrative centre of Putrajaya, all located within this region.
East Coast - more traditional and Muslim, the islands here are glittering tropical jewels. Made up of the states of Kelantan,Pahangand Terengganu.
South - comprising just one state,Johor, two coastlines, and endless palm oil plantations.
Some 800 kilometres to the east is East Malaysia, which occupies the northern third of the island of Borneo, shared with Indonesia and tiny Brunei. Partly covered in impenetrable jungle where headhunters roam (on GSM networks if nothing else), East Malaysia is rich in natural resources but very much Malaysia's hinterland for industry and tourism.
Sabah - superb scuba diving in Sipadan, nature reserves and the mighty Mount Kinabalu
Sarawak - jungles,national parks,and traditional longhouses
