IT'S ALL ABOUT ME

Let's face it. When we develop a web presence we want people to flock to our sites and buy our products. It is the reason we are online in the 1st place.

Some of us do a great job of selling to the public without making them uncomfortable. The majority; however, don't do as good a job. I know that the most traffic on my lenses and websites are on those that I am not actually selling a thing. Why won't people just visit my other lenses and buy something.

Well they don't know me. So here is a side of me that my friends and family know and love, but the general public does not. It is my wierd humerous side, and I am going to kick my own butt.This lens is all about making fun of me. SO DON'T TAKE ME SERIOUSLY. My friends and family don't so you shouldn't either.

I have to say right off the bat that when it comes to my work, I am a narcissist. I know that they are not the best online, but darn it people should be coming to them anyway and buying from them because it is me.

Here you will find the top 10 reasons why I am so great and that you should go to all of my lenses and purchase, purchase, purchase.

OPEN MOUTH INSERT . . .

I have never been accused of being tactful or subtle. It just isn't me. So often, I do open my mouth and speak before thinking. However, when I am writing I do take the time to speak from my heart. So when I say I believe in something it isn't just a sales tactic. It is the truth.

Yes, I am gulty of using sales tactics, gimmicks, tricks of the trade to get you to view my lenses and visit my websites. I want to make money on the internet, but most of all I am here to increase my writing skills and web presence so when I do finally publish a story, an article in a magazine or publish a cookbook on chocolate people will already have a sense of who I am.

The only way you can tell who I am and what interests me is to view my lenses and blogs. Look past the sales pitches. I am in there hiding waiting to be discovered.

Everyone should visit my lenses to see the average josephine, I mean pro in action, so they can try to make lenses as good as mine.

REASON #9 WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT MY LENSES

I can't quit my night job. I rated the lens G, so I can't really discuss the details, but it involves one of those 1-900 numbers. But with the economy being as bad as it is, nobody is spending money on that either.

OH MY GOODNESS. You thought I was talking about, you know; you know who you are, you were. Shame on you. I was talking about the health benefits of dark chocolate.

DECADENT CHOCOLATE

My passion is chocolate. I hope you will enjoy the wonderful recipes here, and at the end of the summer I plan to post my list of chocolate desserts and wine pairings that I created. We'll see.

I am always harping on the fact that I am in a rut. So the wine and chocolate pairings, and hopefully a successful wine party at the end of June will be a demonstration that I am not all that boring.

REASON #8 WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT MY LENSES

I need a fix. A money fix. I earned $53.00 dollars in one day in commissions. That one day sent me over the edge. I spruced everything up and got gold fever. I need that precious, so precious commodity. Precious, is gone. Help me find precious.

SPEAKING FROM THE SEAT OF MY PANTS

Hey, these are some big pants. Working from home, and from my chair all day has just made it that much bigger. If my commissions would just grow that fast. Oh well, at least I have something to show for my efforts.

I hope you are enjoying my wierd sense of humor here. While I am making fun of myself, I do want everyone to know that I really enjoy this forum. I can get on and express my thoughts and plug into a great bunch of people. I have viewed others lenses, and believe Squidoo to be a great place to begin your own web presence.

While you are laughing with me, and I hope you are laughing. I am somewhat funny, and my family laughs at my words all the time, but I believe they are just lauging at me, but that's another story. I hope you also get to know me.

I love the things I promote on the internet. If I didn't love to travel, or chocolate, or believe that getting healthy by using a product, I wouldn't promote it. I use everything I sell.

For those who know me, they certainly can't believe I live on a farm. Yet here I am surrounded by animals. This blog is for my husband, Steve. If you need some sheep just leave me a comment. We have a lot to sell.

I was born in a large city and naively thought living on a farm would be cool. Someone shoot me now! After 29 years and working with pigs, cows, goats, chickens and now sheep, I can truly say I am a farmer, but please help me get to the beach. I have had enough animal smell.

I hope you enjoy this lens. I had fun making it, just poking fun at myself keeps me in perspective. I realize everyday that God has a sense of humor and her certainly had a great one 47 years ago when I was born.

He gave me the gift of love of life, laughter, and looking at the world through my own rose colored glasses, which isn't a bad thing. So don't take yourself too seriously. Love people. Live life with some fun in it and always give God bless.
