Vitamin E Oil
suffer from really dry skin, particularly on my arms and face, and so I'm always keen to try
anything that might keep my skin looking fresh and hydrated.
A problem that I often find with moisturisers is that they are either too thin and soak into my
skin really quickly, or too thick and leave my skin looking greasy. Either way, the results are
often short lived - meaning that my skin goes back to looking horribly flaky horribly quickly!

Vitamin E
I was drawn to trying Vitamin E Oil because of its high concentration of Vitamin E which issaid to be highly beneficial for the skin. I've also heard that it's pretty good for minimising
scars too; which is great as I have a few red marks on my legs that I would like to be rid of.
When I first put the oil on I was struck by how thick it was - less like oil and rather like the
texture of runny honey. At first I was horrified that it was so thick, and put far too much
onto my face causing it to take ages to sink in and leaving my skin as sticky as a fly trap.
Needless to say, the next time I applied it I was far stingier; applying a very small amount
and taking the time to massage it into my skin in a circular motion.
Happily, this did work and my skin is much less thirsty than it used to be. After applying it
nightly to the problem areas my dry skin is now mostly cleared up. I sometimes apply it in the
morning which gives me a really nice glow and helps my foundation to glide on.
I haven't persevered with using it on my leg scars, but given its success on my dry skin I
think it's definitely worth a try.
Word of warning though: if you suffer from greasy skin this product probably isn't for you. If
you want to try it for a healthy glow, apply sparingly and massage in. You can always add
more, but being over-generous is a little harder to correct!
Vitamin E Oil is available to buy online or in-store from Holland & Barrett and is priced at
£7.15.
