Not one for showing off, Blobby was persuaded to pose for this portrait under the threat of ear removal.
Of course Mr. Blobby has no ears, perhaps the result of an earlier battle with a dutch painter (See section an Van Blobby below).

It is believed that King Blobby VIII was somewhat of a tryrant. He had several of his lovers heads chopped off, unfortunately prior to the invetion of steel blades. Having your head chopped off by a wiffle bat takes a very long time!
