The volkswagen t25

This lens looks at all things T25.

We'll be pulling together a whole bunch of resources from the web for your enjoyment. Not all will be strictly T25 however they will all be allied to the great 'brick' and the things associated with it.

Some of the topics we'll cover include renovations, where you can go for advice, collection of T25 images from round the web, suppliers, reviews etc.

Enjoy...

a few VW events, not just camper based...

Think T25, think volkswagent25.co.uk

Our volkswagen T25 web site was originally born to log restoration and maintaining our own Volkswagen T25 camper (87wedgie).

With T25 information spread far and wide on the web and an increasing number of hits on the web site it was decided to update, relaunch and develop it into a 'complete' T25 portal. Although predominantly about all things T25 there's also more generic items of interest like camping, reviews, books, guides, supplier links, forums, events, classifieds etc.

Is the drip keeping you awake at night?

I wear hearing aids and take them out at night so don't have any problem with drips! On the other had given a wet night in the van and my better half is knackered the next morning as the drip by the rear vent keeps her awake. Trawling through the 80-90 forums I just found this entry in the 80-90 forums.

I'm still OK but think this 'upgrade' to the rear vents is a MUST, not just to keep my wife happy but to save me a big welding bill!

galleries

Is your T25 in our gallery? If not get in touch with Bob (see website for address).

Our gallery includes a good pile of pictures from last years (07) Brighton Breeze and the SVWOC meet at Chalvington, East Sussex. If your T25 attended these events then it maybe in our gallery.

New look to your van

or, how to paint your van with a roller

We all want to prep and respray our vans, right? Well how about this alternative? Club 80-90 video of doing it with a roller. less messy! cheaper! Some good pointers on how to work this... Enjoy.

P.S. see CovKid's comment in the guestbook below about the paint used.
P.P.S check out this 89-90 link for a full update on painting you van with a roller.

Its me doing the commentary on the 'paint your T25 with a roller' - can you just remind everyone that we're using rustoleum combicolor or they'll think its household gloss (grin) - full info is in 80/90 WIKI with complete list of items needed (all from £1 shops) and how to prep, tips etc.
