Linda Volrath and Steven J Parrish create representational oil paintings that explore the play of light and shadow on objects and in the landscape. Our goal is to elevate simple subjects into dramatic artistic statements.
About Linda Volrath and Steven J Parrish
Artists Linda Volrath and Steven J Parrish met at a Gregg Kreutz painting workshop in Taos, NM in 1992. They married in 1997 and have been painting together ever since. They paint still lifes, landscapes, equestrian, and figurative subjects. Artists who have influenced them include Richard Schmid, Jacob Collins, Gregg Kreutz, Daniel Sprick, Kim English, and Kenn Backhaus.
