We're all in the same boat!
Republicans and Democrats alike need to know who the candidates are and what they stand for. They need to learn about the various issues and and know where the candidates stand. Everyone should get out their and cast their vote, and everyone should make an effort into knowing why they are voting a certain way.
Where to start

The best place to start is to get to know yourself a little better. What is important to you? What issues matter to you? How do you feel about Iraq? Where do you stand on abortion? How about the environment? Same sex marriage? Stem cell research? Taxes? And so on. . .
If you don't know where you stand it's hard to decide who you would want to lead the country. So take a little time getting to know yourself. Once you know where you stand on some of these issues, you can compare your stance to the candidates.
