A couple weeks ago a woman came into the store where I work and bought a couple things. After giving her the change, she asked if I would like to try this really great hand lotion. By the time she left I had a catalog and a sheer bag of foil sample packets (full benefits line). I REALLY liked the way the products made my skin feel! Hours later....I kept going back to the catalog, and then day after day, reading about the many different products and their ingredients. In just three days I started to notice some fine lines disappearing!

You should know that I'm a very smart shopper. I am the one that checks out all three travel.com sites to find the cheapest airline seats. I scan the grocery ads and am not afraid to visit several stores with a list of their sale items. I actually ENJOY getting the most for my hard earned money. I wanted to see if I could find anything out there on the market that could compare to these items in this catalog....

First, I started going through stacks of IN STYLE magazines searching for similar beauty products. Other than a few age defying things, I didn't find similar ingredients (did see some incredible prices like $229 for a Sephora moisturizer). I also went online and found a few somewhat similar products with prices comparable or higher. I needed to find out more because I couldn't find a product line close enough to compare it to.

I remembered this place I'd gone to a couple years ago. It was the Euro Institute School of Esthetics. My close friends had given me a gift certificate to enjoy a facial at this place. I remembered that they not only offered services (done by students)....but also sold beauty creams, lotions, toners and more. When I arrived, I was greeted by the receptionist at the desk. I told her that I was interested in this new line of skin care products and wanted to see how their products compared. She admired the Votre Vu catalog, left the room then re-appeared with one of the schools instructors.

I showed the instructor the catalog and explained my mission. She showed me two different lines (Dr Spiller and Vera Botania)- one of them was natural botanically based. We used the catalog as our guide....starting with milk cleansers and working through the pages, comparing their ingredients and prices. She complimented the fantastic ingredient list of the Full Benefits (mature) line. I asked her why the Full Benefit price was nearly double that of the Best Regards (normal/dry). She said it was because of the many added ingredients included in the formulas. You get what you pay for is the feeling that I got from her.

I had all the info that I needed - a product line that I fell in LOVE with.....and the testimony of an esthetician educator backing it. Another thing I love about Votre Vu is that you can use it very sparingly and get great coverage....that's a great value for the penny pinching side of me.

I have used up all of my samples and am parched for more! Can't wait to get my first order.
