Vue is a computer programme for creating, animating and rendering natural 3D environments. It is available in several versions including Vue Infinite, Vue Complete, Vue Pro, Vue Espite, Vue xStream and Vue Easel (renamed Vue Pioneer in Vue 7). The current release in Version 7. Only Vue 4 Pro, Vue 5 Infinite, Vue 6 Infinite, Vue 6 xStream, Vue 7 Infinite and Vue 7 xStream support the editing and running of python. e-on have said that all versions of Vue 7 will have the capacity to run python scripts but not to create them.
Python scripting support was added to e-onsoftware's Vue in Vue 4 Pro.

Vue Python Scripts
- Box of Rain
- A python script for making rain with an EcoSytem.
- Centre Finder
- If you need to find the centre point of a group of selected objects this script will save you a lot of number crunching.
- EcoSpray
- This python script coats the outside of an object with an EcoSystem. It won't cover all faces because of the way it works. It will cover a sphere, cube, cone but won't cover all of a torus.
- EcoSystem 'Follow My Leader' Script
- Allows an animated object to be used as a 'leader' for EcoSystem instances. The eco instances mimic the translations and rotations of the 'leader' object.
- EcoSystem to Objects
- This is a python script that will place a cube at the same location as each instance in an EcoSystem.
- EcoSystem to CSV / CSV to EcoSystem
- Two Python script for Vue Infinite to save and information about a EcoSystem to CSV files.
- Mass Convert
- This script uses Vue to convert files between 3d formats.
- Plant Replace
- This python script replaces selected objects with plants from a random list of Vue's plants.
- Random Walk
- Select some objects, run this script and they wander around randomly in your scene.

- Save and Load Camera Animation
- Two scripts to export and import camera position data using a CSV file. Useful for moving camera animations between scenes.
- Sky Filter
- Not exactly earth shattering as all this script does is let you apply a colour filter to the sky or make the sky a solid block of one colour.
- Terrain to CSV / CSV to Terrain
- Import and Export terrain height data from Vue in CSV format usable with most spreadsheets.
- TestCopyProtected
- This script will test your scene for any copy protected Meshes.
- VueDynamics
- VueDynamics is an incomplete physics engine with particle system support for Vue.
- Vue Infinite Ecosystem With Lights
- Places a light at the location of each instance in an EcoSystem. There is also a thread on the Renderosity forum about it: Proof of concept - Ecosystem of lights
