A couple of guidelines for wearing Leggings!

Of course there are far more important things to debate about in the world than Leggings, but it seems that everyone who comes in to shop at Viktor Viktoria has something to say about them. Leggings have appeared on many runways this season. Leggings have been used by themselves as a sub for pants or more often Leggings are shown under skirts and dresses. Personally, Leggings under short dressees and skirts are a favorite of mine. Many of the women who tend to wear super short dresses and skirts to the clubs (especially in Milwaukee,) definitely need the extra coverage leggings offer.

Why don't some people like leggings? Well, unless you look like the models in the photos above, Leggings worn as a sub for Jeans or pants can be a big mistake. No one wants to see fat legs, crammed into leggings! Don't get me wrong, fat, or should I say out of shape, legs can definitely benefit from the smoothing effect of a pair of leggings, but they are only an option if you add a short skirt, shorts or a dress over them. Please remember the rule we have at Viktor Viktoria, Leggings are a great addition to your wardrobe but if you are over 120 lbs, shorter than 5'8, or wear Leggings above size XS or Small, please just add a skirt or a long tunic top or a dress over your Leggings and you will look great. If you do, you too will look hot in leggings, no matter what your size!
