Wag The Dog

Just so you know,

This is not an "Obama Bashing" page. Nor, is it a political party bashing page. I do not care what party you like, or who you "hold on high."

This page is about me, Wag, and what I am doing, or have done.

A Wag the Dog moment is when I purposely divert attention from what would otherwise be of greater importance, to something else of lesser significance. By doing so, the lesser-significant event is catapulted into the limelight, drowning proper attention to what was originally the more important issue.

The expression comes from the saying that 'a dog is smarter than its tail', but if the tail were smarter, then the tail would 'wag the dog'.

Obama Care, aka "The Kill Grandma Bill", is not about health care. It is about control. If the government controls your health care, then they control you.

Do you think that they care if you live or die? Are healthy or ill? Have health care or not? The answer is a big, fat, No. They do not care. All they care about is control.

It does not matter the party, they do not care. The Democrats want to lead you around by a brass nose ring called "health care." They know that if they get this nightmare to pass, they have complete control over you. What you eat. How you act. Who you vote for. If you live, or if you die, based on your value to the government.

The Republicans do not care about your health care either. They are just against this form of it because the Democrats are for it. They are also for the free market system, thus against this fascist form of "health care". But they do not care about your health care.

KEEP THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF OUR LIVES.

Like I have said before, "Humans are stupid." And this "CAP-AND-TRADE" proves it. Can you say this to the sound of a Baseball organ?

THE BATTLE OVER CAP-AND-TRADE

When it comes to this cap-and-trade scam, just remember one thing: that it is, in fact, a scam created for the purposes of expanding government and getting more of your money out of your pocket. Obama is running up a huge bill and he needs every cent he can get his hands on.

Take a look at what is happening in the battle over this bill. This is according to The Hill:

A committee chairman is threatening House leaders to either give him a role in shaping climate change legislation or risk losing every Democratic vote on his panel when the bill hits the floor.

Rep. Collin Peterson (Minn.), the outspoken Democratic chairman of the Agriculture panel, has been making it well-known that he wants his committee to have full jurisdictional authority over whatever climate change bill emerges from Chairman Henry Waxman's (D-Calif.) Energy and Commerce Committee.

This isn't about the environment, folks. It is about power. Even if you are government educated, you should have been able to figure this out by now.

Like I was saying, I have been at this for a long time...

My biggest Wag the Dog moment, has to be, Government Schools.

Back in the 1830's, I hooked up with Horace Mann. We came up with a 'front' to put out to the "dumb masses", and that front was, "To ensure that every child would have access to an education." However, from the beginning, there was another agenda, and that was to control what was being taught, so as to create so-called model citizens.

"Public schools" meant taking control of education from the parents and placing it in the hands of social engineers and the government.

Fun times. Fun times... Classic Wag the Dog. Can I get a "Woof!"

GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS IN CRISIS

The tax-supported "public school" system is in trouble. There are chronic problems with discipline, mounting violence, declining test scores, and administrative costs spiraling out of control. Government schools continue to graduate functional illiterates, and US public school students' math skills are now among the worst in the industrialized world.

How bad is it? The US has 27 million illiterates as well as 40 to 50 million people who can barely read at the fourth-grade level. The US is also among the worst industrialized countries in the areas of math and science. More than half of all 18-year-olds cannot find Britain or France on a map.

What a better way to get my masters (don't worry, you will be calling him that too) policies pushed through, than to have everyone thinking that the sky is falling, and that the only way to fix it, is by having the government take control.

Yet, much doubt exists over the IPPC climate change theory. Hansen's own supervisor at NASA claims that Hansen has "gone off the deep end" with insufficient evidence and has violated NASA policies by arguing against the agency's official position on climate.

Recently, a group of Japanese scientists from a government advisory panel publicly announced their disagreement with the IPCC report and declared that climate change is driven by natural cycles related to solar activity and has nothing to do with CO2 emissions. The climate modeling used to support claims of man-made global warming was dubbed "ancient astrology" by a program director for the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science & Technology.

Skepticism over human-caused global warming was also raised as recently as February 25th at a U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works hearing hosted by Senators Barbara Boxer and James Inhofe. There, Dr. William Happer, Princeton University professor and former Director of Energy Research at the Department of Energy (1990-1993), presented some of his key findings on climate change. One of just four scientists invited to address the forum, Dr. Happer, who supervised all DOE work on climate change, is a climate crisis skeptic. In his presentation, he noted that 650 prominent international scientists, including both former and current IPCC participants, have challenged the claims made by the 52 scientists who authorized the U.N. panel's report.
